If I were them I'd post nowt, saves them loads of hassle fielding off the idiots!
 

I'm not doubting the lads with info but something doesn't quite add up for me and the Micky Gray link with the timings, unless Gray has been bluffing a bit. He said on Talksport on 18th July that the figures being quoted were astronomical and then 5 days later on 23rd July he tweeted " Still processing figures to see if we can come up with a solution.. As you are all aware it is very complicated.. This will not sort itself out overnight.. ". Here we are only 3 weeks later with supposedly a bid accepted "weeks ago", either Gray was bluffing with these tweets or things have happened massively quickly. It was only a day or two before MG's first tweet mentioned above that Donald told him to put up or shut up so my assumption is Gray wasn't bluffing, there just wasn't anything in place.
I just can't see how things could have advanced so quickly in such a short period of time.

Well they clearly have cause its pretty clear now its his group who are under the period of exclusivity

It could pretty clearly be Gray, if he is involved, publicly trying to beat down the price while the consortium behind him simultaneously always being willing to pay the fee.

He said on talksport around a month ago the figures been quoted were astronomical. He went on to say who ever was talking over would need the best part of 70m.

Hopefully they have drove down the 37.5m asking price to put more money into the club, playing squad, backroom staff, academy, and commercial areas.

True which is why I say he could have been bluffing but also Donald must have been too as it was only the day before when he said he'd reached out to Gray but heard nothing.

Or...someone with loads of cash got in touch and then suddenly price is not an issue. It could easily happen.

There’s another one driven from here, this place is f***ing shit at times man. Same people time and time again, I don’t mind them not believing, I don’t believe all, but you can definitely make out the WUMs from those telling what they’ve heard. Just accept that some people may know stuff because irrespective of status, people do talk
 
It must have happened quick as SD was on Radio interview talking about trying to get Mickey's number to see if they were interested and practically hours later Barnes says deal agreed.

Strange that. Just my opinion but from the timescales I cant see how it can be Mickey Gray. He didnt even have a group together then all of a sudden a group are in a period of exclusivity.
