All three of them need to bugger off. Having Sartori as owner would just be as bad with Donald and co still behind the scenes

it doesn’t say that though unless i read it wrong, it says redistribution of shares to current lot, i assume giving JS controlling share

he’s stuck to his story since FPP went tits up, he might be wrong but i tend to believe him more than Barnes. We’ll soon see
Look at all of his Sunderland news. Players and this. All regurgitated and tells us he knows nothing new. He might be right but this is all what has been said already - Garbutt, Graham, Sarkic, Sartori - the lot. All it says to me is ‘no one has told me owt else in the past fortnight’.

even if Juan takes over, I'd still be worried ! I'd bet my bottom dollar that means sd and cm will still have a stake, and will have their finger in the pie for selling at future massive profit, and I'm sure robeylov would just be another red herring, just like Juan was at the time, waiting in the wings to 'invest going forward' when we get there
I hope my radar is massively wrong, and they come in and spend big on a quality team. but this has alarm bells ringing in my head BIG TIME !!!!!
and I'm not a doom monger in any way shape or form, the opposite in fact........

This all day.

Why would Donald want to be a minority shareholder of a football club it is too dangerous for him to even go and watch play......

Other than employing the wrong people i'm struggling to think what Ellis Short did wrong. Please enlighten me why he'd be almost as bad as SD.

Agree with your sentiment, however the “employing the wrong people” was an absolute disaster for the club. He then sold us to unsuitable people too. If he ever did return then someone like Marwood would be vital. It’s all hypothetical anyway. Short has lost enough of his money on us. I very much doubt he’d be up for round 2

Disagree. I think you underestimate how actively bad Donald and his decision-making has been for Safc. His incompetence is staggering. As of right now we don’t have evidence that sartori is as bad. It’s tough to imagine anyone could be tbh.

Satori hasn't been involved in the running of the club, he just took a share. It would be very different with him involved and committed. Need to just wait and see. Id rather this than one of the other mental cases linked to buying the club
Except he also mental, trying to be a politician and not understanding why we could just sign loads of Uruguayan youngsters. Getting his original shares for next to nowt etc

Satori was a little distracted at first and he was always in it for future ownership. Donald said that all along.

He would as he'd be taking over, with new people on board and safc would transfer to a new company.
Donald says alot of things, doesn't make it true. Actions speak louder than words.

No I'm not, Donald needs to fuck off, but they are all linked by association and seemed happy to fiddle share value to get his 30%

i’m fairly sure he said FPP was off long before other journos etc said it, he’s been saying since Barnes comments that nobody was buying us and it was more of a redistribution.

we’ll soon see

Fair enough. However for me the malignant influence on Safc is Donald. He’s the one who, despite being utterly inept, was trying to play at being a club chairman. Sartori is just a big bag of nothing. I’d take that over Donald every single time, though. Arrogance and stupidity are a very dangerous combination - as we’ve seen to our cost over the past two years.

He’s pushing Danny Graham again so from that perspective let’s hope so!

Still, I’d be happy with any deal that removes Dopey Donald from safc though.
I’ll go back to what I’ve said throughout. I don’t want Donald making decisions and I don’t trust him to be forward thinking as he wants a quick buck. Whoever takes over needs to commit to a five year plan - have a strategy and money to invest in making it work including strengthening the academy and signing more up and coming players not free transfer dead legs worth nowt to sell. Basically build a sustainable club. I don’t give a shite who as long as they have a clear way of doing things and are competent. Personally I wouldn’t even care if Donald had some shares as long as his power of decision making is limited and his firmly in the minority.

I’m feeling quite vindictive at the moment, marra, so if there’s a way for Safc to succeed whilst Donald loses a load of money, let’s go for that:lol:

In all seriousness I agree. Up to the point that The Dope had his meltdown at RAWA I would have even made my peace with him bringing about the change himself. I don’t really care who owns Safc. I just want them to be run well - because that will make it more likely that we succeed.

Fanzines have the ear of Gordon Armstrong. He is very bitter about his lack of involvement and is feeding them inaccurate stories. Although, I hope his new coaching busines that he has set up does well.

Not worth the time.
