I think were a great buy tbh.
However after the last damp squib im just sitting back and seeing what happens this time I'm not getting carried away or believing any itk stuff.
I was rubbing my mag mates faces in the fact we were gonna be the richest club in the world at one point.....

Most of them are safe as houses man. They dont operate if they detect a pulse and that would include yours if you are in contact with the poor bugger needing treatment.

That makes no sense as the asking price has been known for months by everyone.
Why go to all the trouble of creating a consortium then saying "Wait...how much?".

We’re now two weeks down the line since Nick Barnes said the sale could be done by the end of August.

As he suggested we’ve heard no news and are unlikely to hear anything else before the end of August.

Interestingly the latest WMS podcast ends with them all agreeing that in their view the supposed takeover is just a red herring and that no such talks are ongoing.

In the early halcyon days of SD they were obviously fed bits and pieces from the club - I’d wager they’ve been asking about to see if anyone’s heard anything and have drawn a complete blank.

That could confirm its all just a complete fabrication or that the NDA is holding firm and there’s no leaks.

Time I suppose will tell.
