I’d be looking at 6s.Aye I might have had a go at England if I could get 7/4 ish
Foakes hasn't left the bubble. They've kept Lawrence leach and bracey in it too. As well as wood and curran
Depends on how the second innings goes but I'd be looking to bring in foakes leach wood and curran in for the next game. With Buttler Bess Archer dropped and one of Jimmy or Woakes rested.
The stuff below the bold is absolutely spot on.
In Bess' case he is very young for a Spinner and will improve due to his attitude and I've seen enough to suggest he has something, imo of course
Can you imagine if we humans were all the same how boring would that be?.
Like Vince, Willey and Ali in the ODI games Vs Ireland?Optimistic about this! The ball is doing a lot off the pitch but the sun is out and roughly 8 of our side are in "point to prove" territory
Vaughan was spot on last night about him, what is he in the team for, he's a 90mph bowler who can bowl lightning spells when he gets into a rhythm but for most of this summer he's been 85mph line and length and we already have 3 better bowlers for that.Archer has been nowhere near broads level for months and months. If he’s not bowling quick he’s the 4th best seamer in this team (in England) and wood should be in over him for his pace.
It’s madness! I still think we can do it, but we’re up against it after that. I sincerely hope it hasn’t set the tone for the day but you’d have to think it has. So why on earth are we that short? Answers on a postcard please.Looking at the odds
England 2.34
Pakistan 1.74
england are way way way too short there
Willey was excellent in those games. 8 wickets, 47* and 51 with the batLike Vince, Willey and Ali in the ODI games Vs Ireland?
Was going to say the same but LBWSweepstake on the first wicket?
I'm going
Sibley b Abbas 0 (6)
Eng 6/1
Oh we can do it. But it’s never a close to even money chanceWtf was all that about?

Can't wait for the next test when Foakes gets the gloves at 7 and Ed Smith announces an exceptional talented batsman batting at 6 in Jos ButtlerI didn't realise Foakes was still here, in that case he has to play (barring something exceptional from Buttler today).
Crawley, Foakes and Woody for Buttler, Archer and Anderson.
Ha, well I wasn't referring to the County 2nd XI VaseLike Vince, Willey and Ali in the ODI games Vs Ireland?
Precisely that mate. Archers main attribute as a bowler is his pace and the awkward angles he creates with his height and action. When he just puts it on a length he’s not bad but he’s nowhere near as good as the other 3 playing this test.Vaughan was spot on last night about him, what is he in the team for, he's a 90mph bowler who can bowl lightning spells when he gets into a rhythm but for most of this summer he's been 85mph line and length and we already have 3 better bowlers for that.
Archer and Wood are meant to be the xfactor for the bowling line up, only Wood is delivering express pace.
Yeah, harsh on him but the last game when Ireland were all over us he came back into the attack and got smacked all over. I think that had always been the concern with him and he didn't do anything to allay those fears.Willey was excellent in those games. 8 wickets, 47* and 51 with the bat
Yeah. But he’s never a death bowler. He’s the one bowler who came out with credit. And averaged 100 with the bat.Yeah, harsh on him but the last game when Ireland were all over us he came back into the attack and got smacked all over. I was harsh on him, scratch him off the list. But the reason he was dropped from the World cup squad is you can't bowl him late in an innings and it's a luxury you can rarely afford to not have a bowler bowl out because you are scared of using him. But anyway, that's a different argument, back to the test.Yeah. But he’s never a death bowler. He’s the one bowler who came out with credit. And averaged 100 with the bat.
