Why on earth fcuk up a life changing deal for our football club by telling an inconsequential local journalist or a fan the exact details of any takeover (Barnes) or investment (BigMadBadBob) before anything is sealed, signed and delivered?

You could tell barnes said too much on the radio, the next day he was backtracking like crazy

@KittenMittens any chance the Spanish business who came so close to buying into us with Donald would be interested again? I know you had an inside track. If I’m corrected they wanted a majority share and couldn’t agree it with Donald. It may fit the DD comment from Barnes.

I considered this but my source (it's actually a close family member) has moved on and now works for another football club owner in Spain, who unfortunately last time I looked are financially imploding :D

So I would guess not much chance he's still in with the original lads.

I don’t think he was backtracking just people were trying to go between the lines to guess who it was
