Agreed. But that’s if you think what people get worked up over is the takeover, when sadly it’s actually more the competition of proving they know more than someone else or disproving someone else’s claimed knowledge - that’s what they get worked up over most of the time, not the actual topic.
 
So a week ago tonight Barnes made his comment so we're a week nearer any completion if it's happening but nothing else concrete from the potential itk's on here. It'll be interesting if anything is in tomorrow's papers as it seems to be then when things get said from the likes of Nixon et al.
I'm not hedging my bets on any of the possible scenarios and not getting my hopes built up, my personal preference would be 1 or 3 of the FPP group alongside a local figurehead such as the O'Briens. Obviously don't want any of Campbell, Yu or the energy drink nutjob but not sure there's anyone else of decent ilk interested in us. Can't see Sartori suddenly being interested and don't want anyone just buying a portion of Donald's shares and him remaining.
I'm also not ruling out there is nothing happening and Barnes has got it wrong although I am in denial tbh about this possibility.
