All in good time mate. It's hardly been 12 hours since the posts. It's the local links/faces that have me looking at this from a positive viewpoint. Campbell and Storey been told to do one now.

That sounds like good news, but only as long as they also have money behind them and, crucially, links to get good people involved. I think getting the right people behind the scenes is the most important thing. Ideally I'd rather have a local group with people involved who genuinely give a fuck about the club, but only if they have the right connections. I'd take a foreign investor who could get a good DOF, head of academy etc and could invest in the side in the championship over well meaning but limited local consortiums. Let's hope we get the ideal of being local, well funded and well connected

Can someone explain what needs to be agreed for exclusivity? Will a price have been agreed?

I believe that you have to have agreed heads of terms, so aye its likely that a price would have been agreed subject to due diligence. It also tends to happen after the group has proved it has the funds (to stop me just saying "aye mate I'll pay you £40m" just so I can get a look at the books) . Then it means they can take as long as they need to do the due diligence without having to worry about someone else coming in and "stealing" the deal at the last minute, it stops them having to rush. I'd imagine now they'd look through everything and if they're happy they'd proceed. If there's any shocks when they do due diligence then they'll walk away or try to renegotiate the price.
