We’ve all had our beef with Luke Edwards but he’s got them fewming and has had for a while. It’s great fun reading his twitter feed after every tweet and every article he writes about them. 😁
Both behind paywalls but the titles explain why he’s got them fewmin (The first two are same story with a different header, I’m sure he’s doing it on purpose 🤣)

Circling the drain clickbaiting his fellow mags, they’re the only ones who read his articles.

28.9k followers while Alan Nixon gets 89k for his half arsed gossip.

The scary thing was that it wasn't just the Mag fans/North East reporters who massively over-rated Benitez there. Quite a few normally sensible journos well and truly bought into the Rafa cult.

Keys is another gobshite who knows the square root of fuck all though.
Was off the mark last week when he said it would go through, but aside from that seems to have had good info from his bosses in Qatar.

Has consistently pointed to problems while everyone else has been claiming its “imminent” - and he has been proven to be correct. Seems better informed on this than nearly all other journos, who appear to have been unquestioningly reporting Staveley’s overconfident rubbish.

it was non stop

scraped 1 0 wins over strugglers with only shot and it was all "that win was down to the genius of rafa benitez"

I said a couple of days ago I am now thinking the take over is more likely to be off than go through, the club signing a new kit deal was very worrying for me.

As far as the article that you're all getting excited over goes, your guess is as good as mine.
If it doesn't go through I'll be gutted like but i'll get over it.
Still don't think the American bid is a genuine one, never have, I think if they announce the take over is off he will vanish like the morning mist.

You've used your 15 minutes for the day by 1am Andy

In fairness to Edwards his first article in particular is bang on the money.
They would lose under Benitez he had no chance Apparently, win he was some sort of genius.
I remember they lost to Chelsea playing Negative all game 20% possession, their school of thought ‘What else can He do man, tactically superb’ Bruce does it against Pep’s City and he is this out of touch dinosaur.
The likes of Wraith, Douglas, Ryder etc become fuming At Mike Ashley’s Zero contract sports playing the moral high ground about how bad men like that shouldn’t be in football...... You put a Saudi Regime in front of them we all know what they stand for, the morals go, they playing the victim card, taking their bat and ball home when it’s questioned.
Any journalist that puts together an article questioning like the above they play the ‘Agenda against NUFC’ card, however bad we are, I’m so glad we’ll never be them

fair play to @AndyH for fronting up. there will be loads of mags who have gloated abut this mpfor months just completely disappear ! I said this would happen weeks and weeks ago if it didn't go through btw

Yes, this is true. Fair play to @AndyH for facing the music. Plenty signed up when the wind was sailing favourably in their direction, but have disappeared like rats fleeing from a sinking ship over the past couple of weeks. He is still a Mag wanker and his work break time of '15 minutes' (to explain always being on here) is highly dubious, mind.

There is nothing new in that article but ever since the WTO report brought to the surface that premier league requests to stop piracy were ignored I thought it was a circle that couldn’t be squared.

If you need a laugh look for Simon Bird or Luke from Telegraph on Twitter to see the mags in denial and in meltdown. Just like @AndyH and @The Fish many of them think it’s just a case of Qatar (who have paid 500m for this) standing aside and letting KSA bid for the rights. No other non-Saudi company would touch it and the two Saudi players are either State or PIF owned (recall BSkyB knock back to buy a an Utd?). Plus KSA and Saudi hate each other.

In fairness the mags on here are nothing to the ones on Twitter with Arabic names, Saudi flags, Aramcomsponsored mockups....oh how we will laugh if it officially goes tits up.
I don't think it's a case of Qatar standing aside and letting KSA bid for the rights.

It's been handled badly by the buying side, no doubt. Even at the beginning of all this I was doubtful that PIF were going to turn us into anything like Man City, as it's dragged on and the apparently unprofessional bid gets mired in more and more mud I'm not expecting a smooth run even if the takeover is eventually ratified. The one thing I'm convinced of is that we're approaching the end of Ashley's ownership.

I think the positive about all of this is it does show Ashley is a willing seller, so maybe then end is in sight even if it isn’t the Saudis.

Exactly! That 18m profit you made could easily service the interest on a 300m loan in the case of a leveraged buyout.

I don't think it's likely anyone would by us in leveraged buy out, it would be to high risk for not enough reward.

The worry is that this drags on for even longer and the new new owners find themselves scrabbling to find the players, and staff they want for the 20/21 season.
