Our players will be watching that and hurting tonight. It can only fire them up for next season.

With respect you’ve just managed to get beat off a tin pot club at Wembley. Wycombe ffs, they are like what Bournemouth are to Southampton, show you lot animosity but you lot don’t care one joy about them. With respect on what basis? Donald hasn't got the funds to buy them and given a lot of your fans are boycotting the start of next season, where's the transfer money for these players and their attractive wages coming from?
Difficult to say post-COVID but pre-COVID Dickie would be c.£2.5m transfer fee and then there's the wages. Given most of this forum agree that Donald has no money, that's probably too much at present. How much would they cost

Haven’t even got four stands. With the greatest respect, I still can't believe he didnt have the coin to buy your lot then rocks-up owning SAFC

Correct and good luck to them, I've got a begrudging admiration for how they get results even if it hurts tonight but I'll get over it.With respect you’ve just managed to get beat off a tin pot club at Wembley. It’s called the EFL.Can you honestly believe a bloke who couldn't manage a takeover of Oxford currently owns the whole of SAFC? Its mind-blowing
The EFL will never allow us to get promoted anyway so it’s irrelevant who we sign or don’t sign. They’ll be desperate to go to the championship, you won’t be allowed to pay them more than 175K per annum and they’ll want more. Another great idea by the EFL. I don't see what that has to do with 'cherry-picking Curtis and Dickie' and how those transfers would be funded though as suggested on this forum.
He did have the coin but our Chairman at the time sold to another consortium because and I quote 'it was in the best long term interests of the club'. He got berated for that decision as SD is popular in Oxford as he is a fan who has pumped some money in previously to help when needed but now most Oxford fans agree that our previous Chairman was right. With the greatest respect, I still can't believe he didnt have the coin to buy your lot then rocks-up owning SAFC

No - it was nothing to do with the EFL, it was our Chairman's decision to sell to someone else. Good move. It’s called the EFL.

Neither Rotherham or Wycombe would've gone up had the season finished properly. Fair play to them though.Coventry aren’t the issue really, Rotherham could realistically have finished 8th on the other hand. A chance would have been nice. Extended play offs. Let clubs who wanted to play out the season do so. A majority of top half clubs declared an interest to continue.
