Our players will be watching that and hurting tonight. It can only fire them up for next season.

those in positions of power at the club should be f***ing ashamed of themselves.

wycombe have demonstrated that with no money, a decent man manager, a style of play with players brought in who suit that style and creating a sense of togetherness is all that is needed to get out of this league.

these amateurs have now overseen 2 consecutive seasons in this league and are now entering a 3rd where we have completely thrown away any advantage we may have had.

we buy players who see us as an easy touch, don’t want to be here, can’t lift themselves in this league, blow every chance they get and are so mentally fragile thatit is suggested big crowds scare them so forgive me for believing that tonight’s result won’t have even registered with them bar o’nien and that’s coz he used to play for one of them.

With respect on what basis? Donald hasn't got the funds to buy them and given a lot of your fans are boycotting the start of next season, where's the transfer money for these players and their attractive wages coming from?
With respect you’ve just managed to get beat off a tin pot club at Wembley. Wycombe ffs, they are like what Bournemouth are to Southampton, show you lot animosity but you lot don’t care one joy about them.

Difficult to say post-COVID but pre-COVID Dickie would be c.£2.5m transfer fee and then there's the wages. Given most of this forum agree that Donald has no money, that's probably too much at present.

With the greatest respect, I still can't believe he didnt have the coin to buy your lot then rocks-up owning SAFC

Correct and good luck to them, I've got a begrudging admiration for how they get results even if it hurts tonight but I'll get over it.

I don't see what that has to do with 'cherry-picking Curtis and Dickie' and how those transfers would be funded though as suggested on this forum.

The EFL will never allow us to get promoted anyway so it’s irrelevant who we sign or don’t sign. They’ll be desperate to go to the championship, you won’t be allowed to pay them more than 175K per annum and they’ll want more. Another great idea by the EFL. Not.

He did have the coin but our Chairman at the time sold to another consortium because and I quote 'it was in the best long term interests of the club'. He got berated for that decision as SD is popular in Oxford as he is a fan who has pumped some money in previously to help when needed but now most Oxford fans agree that our previous Chairman was right.

When Ainsworth was on football focus, he said their average crowd was under 4000.

How the hell did we not get him.

He outlined a plan as to what he would do, how his team would play and an approach to scout players to fit the system....also said he thought eastleigh was full of pricks

The idiots are out in force tonight then 😂 ItS a CoNsPiRACy.

When in reality, we weren’t good enough, Wycombe and 6 other teams performed better than us and 3 of them have deservingly been promoted.

Well done Wycombe, always good to see the underdog do well.

Bodes well for us as has been proven. Anyone who can kick a ball straight in the academy has been hawked around and sold to the first bidder (so much so we couldnt even put u18 and u23 sides out). He's ruined any chance of us having a bright medium-term future so your Chairman was entirely right.

Coventry aren’t the issue really, Rotherham could realistically have finished 8th on the other hand. A chance would have been nice. Extended play offs. Let clubs who wanted to play out the season do so. A majority of top half clubs declared an interest to continue.
Neither Rotherham or Wycombe would've gone up had the season finished properly. Fair play to them though.
