What are we doing to force Donald out of our club?

He has a price he wants he has a price that is a minimum neither are being met at the moment, doesnt matter how much pressure you apply until someone comes in with a solid offer we are stuck with Donald, the other way is he puts 50% on the stockmarket and if you want him out then supporters will need to come up with the cash win/win for both
He has no right to demand a price he wants. Hes fucked up big time. Lets turn the screw on him, drive the price down and force him out

I get why lots of us fans think it’s a waste of time protesting, as everyone round here knows what they have done.

But we need to try and get something out there on a National basis, because our owners live in Oxford, so don’t get any shit in nice flowery Oxford.

So they are getting away with all of this, if it came out in National media they might start feeling the heat a lot more, although very hard to do, because Donald brought in David Jones amongst other things but mainly imo to make sure nothing came out on Sky and it’s worked a treat for him.

He has every right he is the owner and the market forces at play to alter the evaluation of the club are far bigger then running a protest campaign, in fact you might say it actually helps him gives him the excuse to streamline the club even further...

FWIW I’m not sure what could be done in the short term. The fanbase continues to make it clear that SD needs to sell and nothing much has changed. That being said, any big change in circumstances could shift things. For instance, if the owners tried to downgrade the academy I’d hope we’d take some form of direct action.
Will it not end up getting downgraded for us...Probably sell the ground next for a few extra quid.

I’ve taken the refund & also cancelled my season ticket card.

Hopefully that sends a message.

To be honest, anyone wanting to see the back of them (which is surely now everyone bar a handful), that is the best action at this moment in time.
Losing money is the only thing that’ll bother them.
In the current climate, any other kind of protest would be pretty pointless. We’re still coming through a worldwide pandemic, which makes our morning plight seem trivial, and no-one even knows how the future of football will look.
This is my personal opinion, but obviously if enough our fans wanted to push things, the RAWA would have to act. I’m not sure how many emails they may have received about it. Or letters, if they choose to lie like Methven!
To be fair, they’re doing a pretty good job of f***ing up their ownership and turning everyone against them, as it is. Surely they can’t survive running the club much longer?

@Chucky Puddin I know you asked on another thread. Saves me posting it again.

Cheers! Get them emails and letters off to RAWA people!

My only issue with this is that I don't think many will choose to do it as a one man / woman protest as they'd likely feel that it wouldn't make a difference. I think if a central group was organising it there would probably be more buy in. For me, that group isn't yet RAWA, I think it is better coming from one of the fanzines as they don't have to speak for any members. If they did some sort of escalation of the Donald out thing around not renewing / spending and it gained a bit of traction then RAWA could have used the opportunity of the EGM to get votes from members on whether the group should add their name to it. All of a sudden there's the mandate that so many argued they didn't have last time (and in the meantime RAWA can focus on the sensible aim of becoming a supporters trust). Mind, more than anything I'd love it if a decent potential buyer put their head above the parapet and stated they wanted to buy us but that the current asking price isn't fair. That would give a real impetus to the whole thing.

Totally agree with this

Can’t disagree with any of that. Especially the last bit.
Surely they realise that their time here is up?
You tried, failed, now fuck off.

So far we have the power to do the below

Stop buying season tickets
Get your refunds
Dont buy any merchandise including new tops
#DonaldOut twitter campaign
Put pressure of local media
Try and force a franzine to start a campaign
Join RAWA and voice concerns with them about the running of the club

Any other ideas?

People not buying merchandise makes very little difference

Even if you do all that and the whole fan base buys in. It will mean nothing if there is no buyer.

No one will buy a L1 club until it's clear what next season is going to look like.

However, if there are no crowds, it is entirely possible that you find yourself in a restructured Championship. A lot of clubs will go out of business.

How much do you think we make and i have no idea btw on shirts and merchandise
I dont know but there will be money in it otherwise the club wouldn't sell it

It may force the price down though
