Of course I can remember it, I can remember exactly what you called her as well, Did you ever apologise to her btw?

The court hearing is riveting, I hope I can find the link again @Sabre Mag

Go on then, repeat it, you have my permission.

It's a term used in the past on here by others and while I haven't checked I'm assuming I'd find similar outrage from you there as well?

Yeah but if pif have unlimited money. Leeds could soon turn into a realistic back door into the premier League.

I doubt promotion would be blocked due to an owner. Worrying thought for toon fans 😉
They are not going to block them from owning Newcastle then give them the thumbs up for owning Leeds, they will block it or they won't based on them not the club they are buying.

Totally different entity's.

One requires premier League approval the other EFL

So, that is your justification. . . Other people have used it? Not that I have seen it on here but two wrongs don’t make a right

The O&D is on going, you have to pass it then not do anything to effect it.
If they Premier League nock it back and they bought Leeds and Leeds got promoted they would have to sell the club to get promoted or opt to stay in the Championship.
Not to mention they probably have the same rules so if the Premier league nock it back the FA probably would as well.

Again, not going to go into it as I've already covered it.

It's not my justifcation anyway, but you continue your obsession with it. You're not going to get what you're looking for from me, I can guarantee you that.

As you have seen there is no way the premier League could decide if a owner was fit from promotion being announced to the start of the premier League. There isn't enough time to make such a big decision. If you think EFL takeovers are scrutinised like premier League ones you are seriously naive

I think it's a real possibility the Saudis could look at an EFL club next.

And I can also guarantee I won’t be going away, although in your eyes I am “limited” and have “nowt else to offer” on topic

Well, you just admitted you're going to keep banging on about this even though you're getting nowhere with it (because I've already covered it). So my judgment stands tbh.

You're just going to look daft for attempting to derail with this shite whenever you see fit. Carry on, though.

I am sure I will be told by fellow Mackems if I am derailing the thread and I wii rightly change tack. But if you notice I always have anyway.

I disagree but life is about opinions, we all have them.
The Premier League wouldn't need to decide anything in a short time as they would have already ruled they didn't meet the standards.

Thaksin Shinawatra passed the O&D test when he bought city but was then pressured to sell when charges where brought against him in his own country. He was told that if convicted he would have to sell for City to stay in the premiership.

My personal opinion is that if the take over falls through the three most likely reasons by far are:
1: he Saudis have grown frustrated/insulted by the delay and pull out.
2: Due to Covid-19 losses another Premier League club drops on the market that they think is a better prospect.
3: Ashley has grown frustrated and pulls the plug.
