It probably wasn't the best analogy, they don't pick our pockets, much the opposite.

Business wise everything is amicable, they visit the Queen and spend billions on contracts.

Can't understand why it hasn't just flown through.

I don’t know enough about it just always been led to believe we’re thick as thieves. I genuinely think that there is big issues with the piracy thing but certainly the government are leaning on the PL to push through. Like I said earlier, post Brexit any big outside investment is certainly welcome.

Truthfully 8.5 , I’ve already stated I’d be f***ing gutted but supposedly we will have another bite of the cherry with a American , who knows , I was excited to fuck but now I’m suspecting all isn’t straightforward in this deal, we have never been this close and believe me the vast majority of our support will be gutted.

Can’t be more truthful than that.Still I’m confident.
That’s fair enough, thank you for your honesty, as an outsider I would put it at no more than 6.5 but that’s just me

Let me explain. Nobody gives two fucks about zero hour contracts, beheadings or khasshogi. We just want someone to throw obscene amounts of money at the club to elevate us into a false position in the league so we can continue to claim to be a big club.
Tidied, no need to thank me.

that mp was on the politics programme earlier and asked about this takeover. "you cant choose who owns your football club"
Saw that, she was asked directly if it should be allowed to happen, she made no effort to answer yes or no, waffled about how fans have no control over who owns the club, then deflected to saying fans should be refunded for games they didnt attend. So no condemnation of the potential new owners but a dig at Ashley

She’s a politician, what do you expect ? An embarrassing one at that.

Who was it, that Chi Onwurah?

Remind me again, who is the chairmen of the investment fund. He may not be technically the owner, but he is the main man.
MBS is the chairman of PIF.
That doesn't mean he is subject to the O&D.
The PIF as an entity is subject to the 0&D along with people who will sit on the board of NUFC.
MBS would only be subject to the O&D if he had been put forward to sit on the board of NUFC which I don't think he has.
As far as I can tell the Piracy issue would only effect the takeover if the PIF had been used to fund the piracy.

That's what it looks like to me anyway, I'm not an expert though.
Is Amanda Staveley brokering the deal or is she part of the consortium? The reason I ask is that if it is the latter would she pass the fit and proper persons criteria, or would that not be applicable?
It is believed Amanda Staveley will be on the board with a 10% stake. If that is correct she would need to pass the 0&D. There is nothing to suggest that she wouldn't pass though so I can't see an issue there.
