Mines not until 13th. I'll be happy with a voucher if after a year it hasn't been used you get a refund. That is what air france have done. I've got a baby due in August so this was supposed to be last child free holiday but that is out the window now!

Flights switched to Heathrow whenever permitted so its massage n facial before the lounge!:D

Make sure you book the spa appointment exactly 4 weeks in advance as it's next to impossible to get a slot otherwise. BA have a special telephone line for first passengers, just give that a call and they will sort it out for you.

I've got a large payment to make to a company who don't accept AMEX. Is there any way to transfer funds from my credit card to my bank? Or was Revolut the only way?

I use my amex on paypal for anything I buy online. If they accept PayPal then yiu can pay that way. Just need to set it as default payment, use it to pay my ebay fees as eBay dont accept Amex for some reason.

I saw that thet extended my companion ticket again a few months back which I still haven't had chance to use.

Although I got a letter through from Tesco a month or so telling me that my points were no longer able to be converted into BA points sadly

Use mine for everything. They have extended Amex Vouchers by 6 months which is handy.

I travel a lot through work (pre covid anyway) and work for an Airline so I get discounted travel anyway so I class my Avios as my retirement travel fund 😄.

Clubcard conversion to Avios was a fantastic proposition, gutted its ending

Tbf decent extension n digs repaid okay. Infact due to rates got more back!:lol:stting on 19,000 Avios
I'm sitting on 19,000 avios and £100 BA Voucher. Not loads in the grand scheme, but enough for a couple of return flights in Europe and a bit towards a hotel. Crap not being able to use them!

Just been looking through the offers on the app. If you opt in, then spend a tenner at a participating local retailers they give you £5 back and you can use it 10 times. There’s a good few local to me so will try and use it before it stops

Sorry to be a nosey sod but what did you get for the your points, and how much was it with points and money, I have 250k points and no idea what it means holiday wise.

There is an award chart calculator somewhere (Google is your friend) but 250k will get you pretty much anywhere in the world return in First but you will have to pay the taxes and fees on top which are fairly substantial. I've got a similar amount banked up at the moment but obviously can't use the bloody things.

Use mine regularly when online shopping because if you go to websites via their executive club app, sometimes the amount of points you can reclaim for flights or upgrades can be ridiculous. I've seen up to 10 points and above per pound spent.

The flips side, you better pay it off before its due or the interest is mad

I just use the standard one though because i personally refuse to pay a yearly cost for a credit card
