I've assumed they would approve the takeover as the Premier League only cares about money, and they have boatloads, sod the human rights etc.
However beIN pay a lot of money to the Premier League so they will care what they think.
The way I hope it pans out, I hope it's an MA Fakeover of BZG proportions and they turn around and say no one from either side has spoken about it and it's all paper talk. Business as usual. I dont think this will happen for one minute, but I'd piss myself laughing if it did

beIN paid half a billion pounds to the Premier League for the exclusive rights in the middle east.

Thing is the PL need to have conclusive watertight proof that firstly the Saudis are involved in piracy. Secondly, if they do prove this they need to link it to the relevant people. If they can’t there’ll undoubtedly be huge lawsuits and diplomatic ramifications. I’d expect the Saudis have either zero connection or they’ve covered their tracks superbly.
Also, the PL will certainly not just take the word of the Quateris at face value. They’re as corrupt as the next. Their World Cup bid shows that.
It’s I imagine a massively complex case for the PL and one they need to be 100% sure of when they make their decision.

Aye he’s doing a grand job bless him.
Record number of people executed in Saudi Arabia in 2019. Saudi Arabia executed184 people in 2019, a record for the Gulf State, according to a report from Amnesty International. 178 men and 6 women were killed in the oil-rich Kingdom. More than half of the executions were foreign nationals.21. Within this figure there was a mass execution of 37 people.

I’d be fucked I let my lass drive all the time. All so I can drink....

It’ll still go through, I think there’s too much money involved.

I’m thinking that now. I was led to believe a good while back that it was off but I think if it was going to hit the skids it would have by now. Any sector would be mad in this current climate to Knock back major investment into its ‘product’

"The government have so far been happy to distance themselves from the sale but if you continue with your delaying tactics, they may decide to force the deal through as they could see billions of pounds of trade between the UK and Saudi Arabia being put in jeopardy should you persist in your inaction.

You have a duty to every supporter to make this deal happen as quickly as possible, it is high time that the sleeping giant of English football was allowed to waken and finally realise its true potential.’

the sleeping giant of English football? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It will go through, what it will become and the finer details will be interesting

if they keep bruce for me it signals their intentions, if they say appoint poch or a top european manager then expect the worst
It will they'll be in the market for just say better players than Joelinton rather than Werner, Coutinho,Havertz, etc the deluded ***** think they'll sign

Dunk and Ings more realistic

They've been in a coma for the past 70 year.

The shackles could be about to come off binxy lad. The mags could soon be dining at europes top table again.

Hey @Bear the mags could be out the champions league for 17 years and still make it back in again before Everton qualify once

Everyones different mate. Some people suffer with extreme anxiety over trivial things.
Fairplay mate. Must be deeper issues or a lack of resilience for that to cause genuine anxiety. I'm not having a pop, just telling you how it is. Hopefully you can address those issues because there could be far worse things that can happen in your life than a rival football club being taken over.

The emphasis on your statement is “could” Fitzy, bear in mind they couldn’t as well so I wouldn’t get too carried away if I were you
