Seen the yield on them ?
Yields are based on historic dividends tho, aren’t they? A lot of companies are currently showing high yield rates but have announced a cut or full suspension of dividends in the short term.

That’s not to say they’ll reinstate them as & when things hopefully pick up again. As ever, just a warning to anyone to do a bit research which you obviously have.

Bloody big jump mind for anyone short term trading.

I've been offered BT Group shares as an employee of one of its subsidiaries. I can buy them in 3 years at 90% of last week's share price or 80% after 5 years. I can withdraw the cash at any time, for example if the shares lose value. But the shares have been terminally declining for many years so it's a bit of a waste of time.

Hoping for another spike in OKTA share price. State of the US at the minute can see even more people putting their money on tech companies

Ive dipped into a couple of higher risk ones

Open Orphan (should jump within the next week)
Aston Martin (in the shit, but way undervalued, like DLR were)
Touchstone Exploration (the next Excite Energy. Will strike oil very soon!!!!!)
Central Asia Metals

I know a few lads over there who have joined Okta. They’re a good outfit. Key is to have a lot of strategic partnerships with other platform providers. With more remote working inevitable, identity management and single sign on will be key features.

De la rue gone mental!!

Almost every sector I have active investments, I try to have multiple company's from the same sector. Short term it can be a pain when one big company drags the rest down, but long term much better for balancing out any losses.

Sold off Canopy Growth after being up from early hours waiting for their Q4 report and watching the share prices plummet pre trading

Zoom quarterlys out yesterday. Went in heavy pre trading :D

Only punt I have taken during lockdown is carnival cruises ccl. Was down from circa 40 odd dollars a share to as low as 5 dollars. Risky but I think they have one of the best gearing ratios of all the major cruise lines.

I went in at late 8 dollars per share.

For a complete novice what is the best way/platform to start trading on. Is there an particular App that's decent or is it best from a pc.
Fancy having a bit of a dabble myself.
