They've been tweeting Jamal Khashoggi's financee. Accusing him of being a terrorist and supporting ISIS. They have avatars of MBS calling him their 'Prince'.Newcastle fans are just as bad mind from what I see on twitter regarding Alan Barnes mind, if not worse.

They told me off for calling themThey are running a poll on twitter to see how many are suffering with their mental health due to the takeover, one has even tweeted the premier league saying how they’re causing them to suffer. Mental health is no laughing matter but I’d argue that the wife of the murdered journalist, the people of Yemen and everyone living in fear in Saudi Arabia is suffering a tad more.
Not on twitter mate, dreadful if true mind. I just can’t see any logic in anyone ridiculing someone like that.Newcastle fans are just as bad mind from what I see on twitter regarding Alan Barnes mind, if not worse.
Aye. If you go back a couple of pages in this thread there's a link to it. She wants to speak to the PL about the takeover. Accused her of using this to promoted her agenda.eh, surely not....![]()

Out on it, apparently I’m ignorant to mental health. Honestly there embarrassing
Nah. The British government have already publicly washed their hands of it. The mitigation is “it’s a private matter between PIF, the Premier League and the various international stakeholders.”I think you're smart enough to realise that denying the Saudi State (via their public investment fund) a significant stake of a high profile UK-based company could have diplomatic ramifications going forward and any potential fallout needs to be mitigated.

You’re massively overestimating the importance of this deal in the grander scheme of things. A transaction in the region of 300 million is one of many for the PIF. It’s just pocket change. They have to say that publicly tbf as The Premier League isn't a government property. Should it be rejected, they'll have to manage any potential fallout.
I think there'll be private discussions between Oliver Dowden and The Premier League as it's a delicate situation across a few areas.

The British and Saudi states respectively make deals worth billions and billions. And the deals between the two countries for military hardware, which serve the interests of both states are in the billions and billions. No-one who matters is going to give a shit if the deal falls through and that includes bin Salman. It’d be like being a Euromillions winner and being upset because you just lost out on a second hand shirt you were trying to buy on eBay for pennies while you were busy buying a mansion and a yacht.

sounding a little bitter about it there.Mags desperate to be controlled by a Middle Eastern state, but wuh got wuh club back!! Embarrassing

I’ve seen his head photoshopped on Shearer’s body, added to the pisstake photoshops of ‘you'll do for me bonny lad’ and all sorts - all light hearted but maybe not in the best taste. Is definitely true though as any honest mag who posts on here and on Twitter would confirm.
I’d be quite surprised if they were much ‘public interest’ outside of Newcastle/Sunderland. To most people it’s just another attempted foreign takeover. Until recently I didn’t even know of Sheff Utd’s Saudi owner or the obscene wealth of the Barnsley owner. It only creates an interest if they start throwing money around and the club starts to punch above their weight.Usually I'd agree but the public interest and the possibility of a very public rejection of their involvment could be a political problem if they feel humilated in any way.
If it wasn't a high-profile company and a very private deal instead which would go under the radar I'd undoubtedly agree with you but because it isn't it comes with it's own complications.

As for the high profile company you mention, you do realise you’re talking about one of the lower teams in the Premier, a team that will soon be celebrating it’s centenary since it was last crowned English Champions.
10 out of 10 though for trying to big up your club, but you’re wasting your time trying it on here.
