Staveley has been begging all over the middle east looking for backing to buy Newcastle for a couple of seasons. Shes finally got the Saudis to help her but also needing the Reuben Bros to also get the deal done ... Well almost

Despite the wealth of both her backers I dont think they'll be doing a Man City, shes indicated in the past they'll be ran like a business

Am honestly not bothered at all what happens up the road. I know we’re consigned to a third season in the third tier but it doesn’t mean I’ll care about what happens with them lot. It honestly doesn’t faze me at all, I’m happy for them in fact. Just not bothered in the slightest man.
Being happy for them cancels out 'not being bothered', so again we have a top quality post by the racist that wishes cancer on peoples mothers. @Snappy

This is what Initially thought as well. If the Saudis just wanted to buy a club they could. They wouldn't be needing or giving Amanda Staveley a stake

How would you know?
Maybe they wanted to buy a club but didn't want the hassle of having to run it. If that's the case it would make sense to bring people in to run it that have a stake in the venture. Nobody looks after your property as good as you do as they say. The fact that their own money is tied up in the venture makes it more likely they will look after it better.
Personally I wouldn't pretend to know the mind of the Saudi crown prince, the governor of the PIF, Staveley or the Reuben Brothers.
I'll just wait to see if the takeover goes through and if it does, i'll wait to hear their mission statement and make some deductions from that.

Aye Citys or PSG owners didn't need a moose faced munter to beg to them to buy their clubs. It seems this is very much something she wants but obviously has had to look all over for help, every chance the Arabs will mainly keep out of it and just concentrate on the stone age things they do while she runs the show at Snake Mountain

Has socially inadequate written all over him.

He's been doing it for years - appearing on a random thread - t's usually the matchday one so maybe he's suffering withdrawal symptoms, and when you call him on it he never responds, just slinks off for a month or so.

God knows who / what he is?

Something doesn't seem right. After Ashley said she wasted his time in the past she now comes in with the Prince of SA and some filthy rich brothers who only want 10% of the club?
Reminds me somehow of Donald who needed a rich mate to prove he has the cash to make the deal. Looks more like her mates helping her take on the club rather than potential owners eager to run a football club.

Its just sportswashing man. A face at the front to prevent the nasty questions.

She's looking for profit in every deal she makes. Problem is that profit in football is rare. You can't target the best players in the world and make a profit in the process.

😂 Alreet Columbo

All the noise from the weeks previous seem to be coming from the Staveley side. The latest noises from the premier league are that they haven’t got round to looking into it yet.

They wont like that if its true. Ashley was the devil for not splashing the cash, if the Saudis don't spend big you can sense the backlash already.

Suddenly every one of them will be signing up to Amnesty International and it will be impossible to find a mag who ever wanted the deal to happen.

Unless of course Rafa comes back
