Ive said throughout that I disagree with what Cummings did. I just disagreed with the mob mentality that was emerging looking for blood.

Ok then, genuine questions - what should they have done to address the wrong? Also how do you feel about the cabinet doubling down saying what he did was fine and choosing to supporting him and his actions rather that the previously very clear public message.

I didn't say Cummings was a civil servant. Merely unelected in the same way as civil serbants

Can you name a civil servant who has the level of power Cummings has, who has repeatedly broken the law as he has and who has remained in post without so much as a sanction?

Also can you point out when the civil service, which has so much power, has refused to carry out the requests of the government of the day other than in circumstances when to do so would be illegal?

What kinnock did was wrong. But is he helping shape the lock down rules. Did he lie about his actions and try and cover them up. Is the pm willing to defend his bad actions, the pm who decides the lock down rules. No.
