She hasn't given her own personal view on the Saudis yet though, I don't think?

Unlike big Mike, who's so evil he merited a discussion in parliament!

Yeah she organised a virtual meeting at the civic centre to discuss the Saudi Bid. She's now considered the matter fully and has reconciled herself with the fact that the Saudis will make better owners than the big bad fat man who didn't pay the money needed to make the toon top of the league. The Saudis crimes of ordering ladies to be stoned to death for having driving lessons, ripping of the Premier league and others for the last 10 years and dismembering journalists etc is perfectly palatable apparently.

Perhaps but the fact everyone knows about the piracy puts the PL in an extremely difficult position. My reading is they are delaying until exclusivity ends as a hint to Ashley to sell to the other lot, which will then be rubber stamped.
Exclusivity ended when a deal was agreed. The only way it will not go through now is if PIF fail the fit and proper test.

If the takeover of falls through, the Saudi PIF will turn their attention to AS Roma or a La Liga club. [La Gazzetta dello Sport]
