I'm tight, I mainly buy planet x.

In the years of cycling I have never ever paid full price for cycle clothing... Particularly top end stuff has always been bought in sales/promos

Le Col and their £50 Strava codes have provided a fair bit kit

A mate had a deal if you spent over 100 quid you get a free gilet. Couldn't believe the prices. I'm not getting a free gilet.

Best chamois in any shorts I’ve used are Decca. Belgian brand. Very good. Agu too are excellent quality kit and good value.

There are some great smaller manufacturers popped up over the last few years which is great if you don’t want to pay a percentage of expensive sponsorship deals within the price of your kit. Milltag, Fibr.cc

What do you lads use phones mounted on handlebars for?
Serious question. My phone goes in back pocket.

I rate the Dolomiti...best I've used by far.

Its to see who is calling?

I don't even clock my miles or speed - not interested in that strava shite.

Mine does - but it's a pain when someone is calling you - and you are wondering who it might be.....

Ah right...My garmin linked to my phone( in back pocket) to display incoming calls.
I don't want to be answering calls. If it's important they'll ring back later.
I don't use a Garmin. Just wondering whether I would find one useful, but I can't think of a compelling reason to get one yet.

I’ve got a Garmin on my wrist, the phone is used when touring or following routes I’ve not followed before. It’s handy to see at a glance. That said, I do more off-road then on.

my original one bust quite a few years ago, and i never replaced it - phone in back pocket with the strava app (more for prosperity). couple of rides i've often thought knowing my cadence would have been useful but then im not really into all that shit.
