So his human rights record doesn't bother you? It doesn't bother you he ordered the torture and murder of journalists? The bombing of a Yemen hospital? Killing a nomads to build one of his vanity projects? Stoning to death of homosexuals and treating women as second class citizens?

All of the above bothers me massively. However, it is not going to stop me supporting my club.

It bothers me no more or less than it did 6 months ago before I found out the Saudi's were trying to buy us.

Most of the things people bring up seem to me to be consequences of Islamic countries, places in which religious law trumps civil law. Most of the things i disagree with in the likes of Saudi Arabia happen because of sharia law not the whims of MBS.
The one I find the most shocking is that the crime of apostasy is punishable by death which i think is the most outrageous of them all, but again the routes of this lie firmly in Sharia Law not the personal tastes of MBS.

The morals and culture of Islamic countries are vastly removed from my own. i have no desire to force my morals on them, for me they can live by whatever code and creed they choose to.
Most of my opinions probably differ from MBS and differ vastly. That said my only interest in him is if he buys us how he runs my football club. If he runs it well i will be happy, if he runs it badly I will not be happy.

By the way MBS isn't personally waging war on Yemen there are quite a few countries involved and it is at the request of the government of the Yemen who where overthrown buy Iranian backed Houthi rebels. Its a war about Shia and Sunni not a personal campaign by MBS. It's also backed by the UK, US and French governments.

In short:
Do I agree with the shit that goes on in the Middle East ,NO absolutely not
Do i care that countries in the Middle East invest money in UK and Western countries then no I don't give a shit.

Made a rod for their own backs with way went on with Ashley and bringing up his zero hour contracts and workers rights...

Few years time history in their minds will be re-wrote and there would have been no protests.

It is good that every sunderland fan sets the standards here by protesting daily outside the factory on Wearside that only makes arms for Saudi Arabia.

They may well do now.
Sunderland fans have all been leading the global fight for human rights and leading the fight against tyranny all they way back since early April 2020.

Didnt you not start this fight though?

Those bloody zero hour contracts and sweat shops!

Think you'll find it's not us either its amnesty international and a widow who's husband was murdered.

Apparently "No club on earth could have handled what the mags have been through"

Delusion has just ramped up a notch.

The sad thing is this myth gets lapped up not only by the Mag hordes but also all the skyboys across the UK. Reading social media so many comments from neutrals (usually plastic Liverpool fans from Wiltshire on Scarborough) are saying the Geordies have been through so much suffering and that if any club deserves to be taken over by multi billionaires it's them.

No, zero hours contracts have never bothered me, I have always been of the mind if you don't like your companies pay or conditions go work for someone else.
Also the sports direct signs didn't bother me, what bothered me is that he didn't pay the club the going rate for them.

what a ****, as if it's that easy for people.

Stop trying to rewrite history man. When yous were signing all these unknown French internationals yous were all over the moon walking round in berets and having French days. Graham Carr was the best scout in the world back then apparently. Now yous were frustrated what a complete load of shit
I'm not rewriting history, I'm just giving an overall picture of it, instead of using a couple of windows as a reflection of 13 years.

We finished 5th the season before, we signed Vurnon Anita in the summer window, it was only when we were in danger of going down that we signed Sissoko, Gouffran, Marveaux, Mbiwa et al. Carr found us some good players, no doubt, but he also got us some duffers, and the Thauvins soon outnumbered the Cabayes.
