Football sold its soul a long time ago. The fact that the new Newcastle owners will be a new low is no surprise.

I do wonder what the point is of a fit and proper persons test is. It covers nothing but finances and often it doesn't even get that accurate.

Personally if this happened to Sunderland, I'd be done with the club, but it's up to individuals to make their own moral stance.
