He would be brilliant for us. We aren’t like those lot up the road we know what we are and aren’t deluded like those fuckers. Will never happen though he said he will never buy another football club.

self sufficiency for a start.I despise the notion and it’s the reason we are in the third division and won’t ever achieve anything of note in our lifetimes.

tell you what I predict, we will have a change at the top, not the very top, but high enough up to be up top, in a short space of a time hop, and if that's not cryptic enough I can elaborate. cos ya see I knar what's ganna happen in the next few weeks.

We'd be a financially stable club in the PL. Ashley managed to bring in players that they sold on for a profit and reinvested in the team. Also their academy is doing ok too.

If Ashley was owner here or at Sheffield Wed or Forest and got the same results people would call him a genius.

But because the Mags are deluded and the media make out that they are massive club like Man Utd or Arsenal. When in fact the are in the same bracket as us, Wednesday, Leeds and Forest. Big historical clubs who had their day and now outside of the "new big boys'.

Ashley delivered what is expected of a club the size of Newcastle United with the resources they have.
