Maybe part of the deal is we are renamed again as The Sports Direct Arena. That would be a gutterbut I imagine it will be prime spots around the stadium....

yes they will have people at the club reporting to the higehr ups..my point is..stavely could well be that person at the club..and then she mwill report to someone,..who reports to someone..Ffs it's not one bloke travelling around the world checking in on his own investments. He will have ppl working for him day to day at the club. They will then report to somebody higher how it's all going and they will likely report to one of his advisors etc. You know how business works right? Mr Tesco doesn't stock all the shelves and work on every til...
I think youre absolutely right. But then again who has the same level of investment Man City has had? I dont think any club in the world has and dont expect Newcastle to.
However, thats not to say that the level of investment wont be of a level that 99.99% of clubs in the world can only dream of and a more than adequate amount (whilst remaining within FFP rules) to make a difference to a lower table premier league club like Newcastle, and turn them into contenders for a European place in 12-24 months.
being on the baord is being the director..id say either she or the rueben kid will be chairman,..saudis wont want to be public face..Never argued any differently. If she wants to and they are happy to she may well sit on the board or even be director. I doubt the latter highly.

The prince buying Newcastle is the next in line to become kinghe is a relativelty skint prince as well...had to borrow the money to buy the club..
ad a distant relative of the rulers..very distant..
If this happens, I don't think Newcastle will be at St James Park in 6-7 years time, if there is a glimmer of success, there will be a new stadium built to house the additional demand, i'm not an expert on it but I do believe that the current ground can't be extended. Didn't Ashley own (or sell off) the land next to the train station too?
i know..my commemt was aboput the "prince" that owns sheff utd..who is a very distat cousin of mbs..The prince buying Newcastle is the next in line to become king
We made cup finals, played regularly in Europe and got to the Europa League Quarter finals in my life. It's not ridiculous when we were quite far ahead of teams like Tottenham to expect not to get relegated. Ashley was a shocking owner without ambition and without a clue - look at fuckers like Wise and Kinnear ffs. Like I've already stated in the comment you quoted, I'm happy with midtable.
Semi Final, Drogba murdered us
@Grumpy Old Man I'd imagine at least in the interim they will ask Charnley to stay on and run the club. In current climate it will be impossible to get the likely structure they will want in place and have proper handovers etc. Again that's me guessing, all of this is guesswork.
Has she ever been in charge of a football club before?
Ah I thought you might of been on about sheff Uniteds owneri know..my commemt was aboput the "prince" that owns sheff utd..who is a very distat cousin of mbs..
my understandig is its the younger rueben...jamie..wh is pushng this deal from their side..though of course its daddys money..Louise Taylor in the Guardian say that Yasir al-Ramayyan, the governor of PIF, is expected to become chairman, with David Reuben on the board (once he resigns from QPR, of course). Charnley may be too closely tied to Ashley to want to stay or for the Saudis to keep, though he undoubtedly has the knowledge of the club. Also, is he not toxic as far as your fans are concerned?
Not as far as I am aware. Is this the basis for your judgement?

Not really but if you become the richest club in the world, would you want a novice to be in control?
they aret becoming the riches club in the world..they are becoming the club with potetially the richest owers...its not the same thing..and they can do what city did..appoint football experts to run thef ootball..and a business expert to run that,..Not really but if you become the richest club in the world, would you want a novice to be in control?
I didn't see they will sign them, I am saying they have the spending power to try and get them.
Don't just think that because they are based in the N/E, Top, top players won't want to go there, that is complete bollocks.
