MOT tests extended for another six months

I’ve got a car I have had on Sorn for 2 years, does it mean I can drive it, or is it just for cars already MOTd?
It doesn’t make it clear, it states cars bikes and vans will be except from an MOT for 6 months.
Cars in good nick, I just wasn’t using it as I had a work vehicle.

It makes it very clear on the gov website. Cars due an MOT before 30th March must get the car MOTd before it expires.. any MOTs due after 30th March will automatically have the expiry date extended by 6months. Current cars without mot will not be exempt and must be MOTd at a test centre

Crazy. So when we're finally allowed out, keep away from any roads in case you're hit by a faulty car!
cars still have to be roadworthy.

car must have a valid mot, which expires on or after the 30th march, in order to be extended by 6 months.
