Homebrewing - Part 3

Those kits are a canny way to move up from kit brewing, to extract brewing. You don't even need to be able to boil the full 23L, just a ~8L large saucepan on the hob will do the job, and the 15L of cold from the tap sorts out most of the cooling too.

Once you crack those, its literally nothing to start designing your own beer!

Just did it. It’s my second kit of a similar type. I think the next move is a Bulldog Brewer or a Grainfather

What’s went wrong? I’ve got a ton of mango pulp that’s screaming wine to me.

Get a big shed. Or an extension.
Because I’ve stopped drinking I haven’t done any since last summer. So I tried the ones I had already done a rice and raisin, gooseberry and a Wilki red. 12 of each. Lifting!!! Maybe it’s me like.

Just put them down for a few years to mellow.
I don't know where i stand with this i tried it before and it wasn't bad just obviously not as nice as what's in the shops
Kits will never be as good as bought beer but when you make all grain it can be.

Genuine question can you get stuff to be as nice as the stuff in shops

The kits normally have a certain taste to them, at least the cheap ones seem to. If you are making all grain, you’re making beer as they do in breweries so can easily make beer that tastes as good as commercial beer.

Do you make lager or ale or other things is there anywhere you would recommend to start although granted its trial and error
