Saw Rod Stewart at St James Park in 2007 attended by about 20,000 people.
Loads of people would have loved to be there to see how shite he was.

Not that I knew it at the time as I arrived over there to my cousins place with Wet Wet Wet greatest hits in my walkman but I would be witnessing a monumental lineup.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Pearl Jam
Soundgarden
Rage against the Machine
Stone Temple Pilots
Jesus and Mary chain
Ministry
Lush
House of Pain
Cypress Hill
Ice Cube
Ice T

It was a musical awakening for me. We smoked a boat load of weed and whilst I'd arrived with Wet Wet Wet :D I left 3 weeks later with the Chilli Peppers, the Violent Femmes and the Tragically Hip amongst others blasting in my Walkman.
