No it wouldn’t. How is that?? Fury actually came back stronger and hit wilder with a great counters left hand and you could argue won the round apart for the point deduction
Just my opinion. Last round, knowing you only have a couple more mins to get through will have a different feeling to taking that early on in a fight.
I want fury to win but think Wilder will probably stop him this time.
It hasn't mind. Its more than the first fight.
Fair enough. I was thinking under 100k. Dont have a clue how many they normally get, just a random guess.

he looked stormy and hard coming back in that round. But anyway still undecided on outcome.
Probably wait until the weigh-in.

my gut tells me he schools wilder, stands him on his head but I’ll wait before commiting

Ah, I thought you meant that price was the norm, because he was complaining about the price.

Not sure anybody expects this to be on BT or Sky Sports.

Joshua vs Wlad was the biggest with 1.5m buys. Joshua Parker did just under that and Joshua Ruiz 2 did 1.25m. The first Wilder Fury fight did 450,000.

It wasn't that long ago PPVs were £14.95, then that increased to £19.95 but we were told that was the price point and it would never increase from that. Now this and Joshua Ruiz 2 are £24.95. The cost and frequency of PPVs has rocketed over the last few years.

Correct as I said. Ppv Is no new news. Regular for 5/6 years now. It’s the norm.

Aye, nobody is complaining about it being PPV though, the complaint is about the price increase
Well some are like and have been constantly for the last year.

If you want the fights it’s the price to pay.
or get a stream like a lot of the lads say..

People sharp moan when the big fights don’t get made.

dd v Joyce another example. I’m happy to pay me cash to see that ridiculous f***ing war.
Iirc in the Lennox Lewis PPV days you always got a decent British show on beforehand to go with it with a Euro or British belt on the line
I think the Kelly v naz fight had a good British card before and aswell from memory.

That's what's pissing off so many of the British fans. Quality down and price up despite promises to contrary. Will pay for worthy PPV all day long. Tbf I'll probably have to pay for this as well due to the main event being what it is. Its just a shame the market allows for fans to get bumped the way we have been right now.

Everyone moaning about the ppv/prices these days, whilst still paying them - you are the problem.

Fighters are still doing well getting paid a mil for a fight from a TV deal and a filled arena. They only get paid £10m because you mugs hand over your cash.

You think they're just going to quit and work at burger king if they can *only* make a mil per scrap?

Some people don't like to go down the illegal route though which is fair enough.

Boxing is far too controlled by the promoters. Its like the big prem teams deciding to play the teams at the bottom of the league week in week out just so they can win the matches. Boxing needs tighter regulation from the boxing organisations for mandatory fights if boxers want to retain belts.

Dd v joyce is a good example of how ridiculous ppv is these days though.

Dillian white and chisora fights both looking to be ppv aswell. Other than the top 3 heavyweights and Klitschko if he ever came back, none of the others are ppv worthy. Might aswell just stick every boxing night on ppv if that's the case.

If its elite-level people fighting, then its fine. Mostly title-holders, but also those people who drop titles because fighting mandatories isn't worth their while - some fighters don't need the belts etc.

But what have Joyce and Duboi actually done to date? Absolutely nothing. I think Duboi has a ton of potential, but so did Audrey Harrison.

Exactly. People must be happy to pay it though.

You seem positively delighted to have to pay for the pleasure.

Audley fought David Haye on PPV. This piss takings been going on a long time.
True of course. But these monopolies only stop ripping off the masses when something comes along and challenged their grip on the market.
I stream the lot marra. My PPV days are long gone.
