Potentially daft scenario, want to go to this game but going on holiday straight after, flight from Brum airport at 4pm.

Will need to go straight to the airport from St Andrews in a taxi or by train, any idea of what I can do with my suitcase for the match? Only hand luggage so am I likely to be allowed into the ground with it?

Email the club and ask them if there’s somewhere you can leave it. Taxi to the airport, about 20 mins assuming you get clean away.
what time does check in close? If youve checked in on line what time does boarding close. If you don’t know then you’d best find out.
personally I think you’re pushing it mate.

I would say your best bet might be to check the train times from bordesley station. It’s a couple of minutes from the ground. Get a train a couple of stops to tysely and have a taxi booked. Alternatively, look at heading to adderley park station which will take you to Birmingham international.

Not sure which is quicker. I would probably go to bordesley but either way, I would leave before the end. A taxi straight from the ground could be risky as most of their fans will be heading in the same direction.

Cheers - can already check in online so would only need to leave enough time to get through security and get to the gate..

I'm half thinking it's more sensible to leave 15 mins early and get a taxi back into New Street to get a 10 minute train - avoids traffic

Best of luck mate. Hope you make it.

Be careful with the Bordesley station. Although it's often open for Blues match days, it isn't for us as a rule, so double check. Was going to make a joke about it running 15 mins late, but wasn't sure it would go down well! Good luck anyway, and hope you can manage to sort it.

Just google luggage storage in Birmingham, there’s loads of places where you can store your luggage while you go to the match, normally just local shops/off liceneces. Did it at Wembley both times last season, the one i used was www.stasher.com, they just give you a raffle ticket. Would highly recommend!

we have a striker who’s too good for League One and could help you in your relegation battle ...

Massive game for us, in respect of where we currently find ourselves.

A draw away would not be a bad be a bad result, however, I hope we beat the horrible feckers.

Their behaviour at SoL last season was shocking.

Those travelling down to St.Andrews, keep your wits about you.

Let's stuff them, 15 minutes late or not!

Hope Pompey draw with them tonight!

Ticket arrived in the post this morning.

Block 3 and a few rows up from the front.

My ugly mug on Sky TV then  :D

Despite the crap kick- off time, and lack.of pub time pre-match, should be a great game.

Three good results in our next games will at things up nicely.
