Copper on copper attack, I swear there’s a bias against ginger kids.

The lad could have died, depending on what injury he has he could suffer from headaches for the rest of his life. Not many people deserve this kind of punishment, let alone a kid...

A good sit down with the copper is what’s needed, why the fuck have you done this should be the first question.

Not condoning the copper's actions at all, but I reckon the video footage is a bit inconclusive.
As has been said, if he's gone wading in and smashed the lad over his head DELIBERATELY then he should have the book thrown at him - professionally and legally.
On the other hand - it IS possible that he got it (badly) wrong and caught the lad by accident.
Even if that is the case, it obviously needs looking into properly and a judgment made as to whether he's in a suitable job - cos even if it's accidental he's a bit of a liability imo.
