Egg chasers of the SMB

England team to face Scotland announced

6 forwards and 2 backs on the bench, and one of the backs is Ben Youngs. It's like Jones is introducing a new problem to undermine his own team each week.

Pleased to see Young not starting. However, selection doesn’t address enough of the issues from last week.

Playing a flanker at 8 doesn’t work. Also I’m not a fan of Mako at all, not sure what more Genge needs to do to get a start.

I’m back in the Jones is clueless camp.
Redeemed himself at the WC but it’s almost as if he does the bizarre selections in order to puss everyone off.
And I’ve never been convinced ford and Farrell can play together. Farrell ended up spending the game trying to crash through the defence.

So, if we get an early injury in the backs (as we had on Dunday), we're desperately short of cover and that cover may well be a scrum half? Seems daft.

Oops, looks like Saracens still have a bird yet to come home to roost.

They're being investigated for fielding an ineligible player against Racing 92 in the Champions Cup after his work permit expired a day before the match.

If found guilty, the game is awarded to the opposition and they receive a four point deduction, eliminating Saracens from the Champions Cup.

I wonder if they believe in Karma?

The irony it’s against a french club as well.
It’s a witch hunt now mind you

He's stubborn on some things and changes his mind every 30 seconds on others. He's also gone into one on his phases where he won't consider anyone new for the squad, even when the ever-decreasing number of players he will work with are crocked or shit. I think we're in for another 2018 style disaster

Fuck, that's probably going to change at least 3 quarter final fixtures. After a lot of people and teams have already made travel plans.

Have they suddenly hired all of SAFC's former board management?

Just seen on Twitter that it's being reported that South Africa will join the Six Nations in 2024. It's a strange idea, but I can't help but think it would be a good thing, as long as Italy are dumped out of it as they currently offer the championship nothing.

What’s the rational for this? Why do they want to leave the rugby championship?

There was an article on nzherald.co.nz saying the same thing, reckoned Italy were staying in the main reason for the move was the time zone being closer and the large SA population and players in the UK and Europe

Saffers need the money I suppose. Does it mean long away trips and hot summer matches though?

The rugby championship isn't as lucrative or as competitive as it used to be, Australian rugby is in a shit state ( ) and the Argies are becoming comparable to Italy, albeit to a lesser extent.

I can't blame the Saffers, a lucrative, highly competitive competition in the same time zone or only 2 truly competitive games spread across the southern hemisphere when they play NZ.
