Said that the comments were at a meeting where the club speak to a fans group, said we are one of the few clubs to do it. We aren't, all EFL (and I think PL but not sure) clubs are required to meet at least twice. We might do it more often but we aren't one of few to do it. Said that the meeting has to remain private because otherwise you'd just get the "usual PR guff that directors come out with at open forums", so basically if there's any talk ins etc they aren't worth attending because he's admitted it'll be full of guff.

Then just apologised if anyone was offended, said he had worse said to him during the meeting (which isn't how @Ghandi Floss described it). Generally quite a poor interview imo
 
Well there's 10 minutes of my life gone, what a waste of time that interview was.
 
I've never been much for the bloke and I saw the writing on the wall. Not to get too political but if if things turned sour it was always going to be easier to turn on a tory loving privateer but then I suppose he wouldn't of got much more time if he waved a red flag but he would have been more likable at least.

They’re trying to sell. Have been for over a year but they have a Championship price and a League 1 price

They should have asked him about the story regarding FPP still being interested. That's the one people want, the serious businessmen with vast resources who we know have done detailed due diligence and are thus arguably the only ones who could take over soon enough to do as Methven states in terms of getting in well in time for summer. Anyone else will be months away (or they'll be rushing through due diligence which isn't what we want). Fair to say if it isn't FPP I'll have a hard time believing it when the current owners tell us how great the new ones are and how much they've done the deal for the good of the club rather than themselves
