Which can cause respiratory distress in a number of cases[/QUOTE

Better ban flowers then as more people suffer respiratory illness when the pollen count is high. Ooh bees as well because of severe allergies.
While we're at it we should stop all fireworks displays, ban BBQ's, and anything else that has the possibilty of creating smoke.

Everyone was in favour of sacking Parkinson over Christmas

No they weren't

Maybe so, but it doesn't detract from the fact that people in general are softer, have less resilience to any slight inconvenience, are more easily offended, have less perspective, love to moan more and generally are total f***ing fannies these days.

It's a smoke bomb at the match. Have a word with yourself you f***ing tart

Serious question mate. Lets say on Friday Doncaster fans chuck a couple of smoke bombs into the North Stand. Some families get upset and leave the ground. Would you call them fannies?

Ignoring the fact chucking smoke bombs might see clubs trying to cut our allocations, can we really moan about opposing fans chucking them onto us, when we are chucking them around the away end?

There was a poll on here that had 97% Parkinson out. There was full stadium chants. I’d say that’s pretty conclusive

There were not full stadium chants at all. About 300 people in the South stand is not the full stadium. That poll is equally meaningless, loads of fuckers who don't even go to the games. You had little credibility before, now you have none with this full stadium bull shit.

They are illegal and that's absolutely fine, it lads want to hoy them on the touchline to celebrate a goal I couldn't give a monkeys. You can carry on your crusade to deal with this massive threat to life and limb though if you choose.

They're only illegal to take into a football ground or let off in a public place according to the fact sheet that Urban Silverback posted...

"Is it an offence for an adult to have a firework in their possession if they are not going to a match? No, it is not illegal for a person over 18 years to possess a firework, flare or smoke bomb, but it is illegal for a person over 18 years to let off the firework, flare or smoke bomb in a public place. A person over the age of 18 cannot legally be arrested for being in possession of a firework, flare or smoke bomb, other than when entering or attempting to enter a football match. For instance, the arrest of a football fan at a service station for possession of a smoke bomb in their car is an unlawful arrest unless the fan admits to the police officer that they intended to take the firework, flare or smoke bomb into the football ground later that day. "

It's not an offence to own or carry them or even set them off at home or in anywhere deisgnated a private place. To me that indicated that they are more considered a public nuisance rather than dangerous.
No mate. The lads I am on the coach with were just critical of those that chucked the smoke bombs. Mainly because it could result in clubs trying to cut allocations
That part of the argument makes sense 100%

Aye mate sorry I meant illegal in the "inside a football ground context" I should have stated that.

Sensible SAFC fans did not jump on the bandwagon and realised the manager needed some time as things havent been right for a time.

A few kids in the South Stand singing for Kevin Phillips is not full stadium chants...plenty round me were saying have you heard them idiots or words to that effect.

Exactly, I sit in the west stand and most were just shaking their heads. A handful piped up and that's about all. As for parky he's walked into the usual safc shit storm, a team on the slide, club up for sale, bullying in the dressing room. He's turned the whole lot around, just needed a few weeks, the same as Allardyce did.

I can see two clubs in particular using it to restrict our allocation mate.

You're right neither are permitted. However a distress flare is dangerous as fuck and burns at the melting point of steel and is packed with chemicals to make them almost impossible to extinguish. The smoke bomb put on the pitch today was just that, a prop that poses virtually no threat to anything or anyone.

Apart from people with asthma. Which you have - you should know better. Like this little boy for instance:

or in this instance when paramedics had to treat an asthmatic person in the stand
