If we are looking to get promoted, what is the benefit of selling our best players?

We either weaken ourselves this year lessening the chance of promotion, or we flog them to a Championship side we would play next season if we were to get promoted.

We need to be keeping all of our best players, its inexcusible we can be losing our best to Championship sides like Brentford.

The money wouldn't even be reinvested anyway.

I like O9 as he has a great attitude and always gives 100%. He has ability, but for me, the lad wants to be here and is a regular in the team. I do appreciate that everyone has a price for selling, but if he was sold I'd be annoyed if an equal replacement wasn't brought in. Ditto for Hume.

Brentford are fookin 3rd in the championship!!!! Even so unless it’s around the 5m mark and we have a replacement then wait until the summer. How football is now we could be in a better position than Brentford are this time next season and Luke is struggling to get into a Brentford team rather than being one of the most appreciated players we have. Let’s face it players would prefer to come to the SOL and AOL for work than here....

A well run club would take 4-5 million for O’Nien and run. Because they’d invest it incredibly well. Outside of the fact he’s an integral player in our team and I hope he stays, he’s a central midfielder playing RWB. We currently have two centre mids ahead of him, with hopefully another joining in Docherty. If we’d been planning well we’d already have a few options in that position that are possibly more natural. Again to reiterate, am a big fan of O’Nien, but that’s big money for a League One club.
