Witcher 3

I should. Especially the amount of grief I have gave people over giving up on the witcher without giving it a proper chance.
They're all awesome.

Sekiro's fighting's a little more Witchery too (but still canny hard). Defeating a Souls boss for the first time is about as close as you get to a late Sunderland winner for me.

Rolling in DS1 is shite as well and unnecessary given now overpowered blocking is and how easy it is to parry. Fat roll cut offs don't help like.
I found DS1 brutal. Didn't clock it but appreciate it existing.

Agree with that, beating a dark souls boss was satisfying as fuck.

They're so good I'm frustrated that you didn't persist. I know that's odd but that's how good they are, everyone wants everyone else to keep going.

If you beat 1 boss that's the hardest bit out of the way, Kinda. They're always that hard, but you'll beat each one in about the same amount of time if you keep at it.

This is a tangent but this article resonated with me. It really is a special game. Don’t Go Hollow: How 'Dark Souls' Is Defeating Depression

I appreciate them, and other soulslikes, it's just not my genre. I didn't hate playing dark souls, or bloodborne, but I clocked neither.

Another game came along that I wanted to paly more

I don't think they need an easy mode but don't think I should have to "git good" either.

The level recommendation is handy. First time I ignored it I was level 6 and went on a level 33 monster hunt! Ran away after many re-loads! Or maybe I'm just a noob!

I did a level 21 or 22 mission at about level 12. It took f***ing ages, mainly because of the limited damage I could do.

Dont go more than 5 or 6 levels above recommendation would be my advice

Finished it last night - thoroughly enjoyed it and apparently got the “good” ending. Will consider the DLC at some stage, probably after I get the Kingdom Hearts 3 one that has just been released.
Still can't fully get my head around it.

Took me a while but ended up at a point where I was basically unbeatable due to my deck - defo a lot of luck in the earlier goings.

Buying cards whenever I can but I lose more than I win.

The DLC, Blood and Wine in particular is superb. Possibly better than the main game though about 1/3 the size
