Their squad score is deeply flawed and as such find it difficult to place trust in the other stuff, perhaps I'm wrong?

Doesn't provide insight into how to calculate intrinsic value either.

All interesting stuff but I think what they are providing should be remodelled and progressed a lot.

Blatant f***ing sales pitch. Did they pay Roker Report for them to publish that article? Is this advertising without being honest about it?

Aye, I didn't fully understand the squad score bit. It say De Bock fitted into our squad??

Total bollix.
Explain why?

Barcelona and Ajax have been using similar system. My local club Bohemians use something like this. For the last 5 seasons we had the smallest budget in the League of Ireland Premier Division but have finished in the top 5 and qualified for Europe this season.

This model mightn't be the best out there but to call it total bollix and to dismiss it is bizarre. Nearly everyone is using methods like this.

One of the things is that you cant become a slave to stats. there has to be an element of gut feel to it. stats can tell you anything you want them to tel you. Its part of the equation but not the full monty.

I always asked the question - never answered - of how we go about buying players. does the board ask the relevant and appropriate questions of the manager or does he just do what he wants? what checks and balances are there in place to stop him buying a load of shite time after time?

Definitely mixed it was clear it was mainly getting giddy about will grigg, but Ozturk was probably a ross signing there doesn't seem to be any coherent strategy at all.
