Coventry City Away

2693 there for their cup replay tonight.

The bloke on the cash turnstile made a few quid 'allegedly'! (happened when we played Ipswich in the cup too)
With regard to the Coventry v Sunderland game, the talk of other teams' fans getting involved is absolute nonsense, as is the idea of Coventry fans looking for trouble at the game. Those who go have are only interested in the match (same as the large majority on here) and the only time any knuckle draggers appear are at away games. Anybody expecting trouble from our end when you come down, will be sorely disappointed.

Hey, I don't want the fkers in Lem - I have to work here. It is bad enough driving past their training ground at Ryton on a daily basis.

Maybe they could put up a stand for 3000 people and just play at Ryton. I think you're right, Leamington is too good for the sky blue filth.

there was trouble last time with many innocent fans attacked
Winning 3-0 Coventry Brum looks like its happening
Brum fans will be fuming about that , imagine having to go in the away end in your own stadium , playing a local rival

Surely they'll just give Birmingham the home end as they're more likely to fill it and will avoid stoking up trouble

Which will be classed as your home fixture and innocent people were attacked last season at your home fixture.

I go every week - the people that attend, go to watch football. The only bother this season (as one of your posters cited), was some Blackpool youth hitting some old people. Just telling you as I see it.

I know there was at The Ricoh, but the same folk haven't travelled to Brum. The Blues fans are split - most seemingly looking forward to the novelty/laugh of being in 'the away end/s, and others will (perhaps understandably) be more territorial - again, likely, the youth. Anyway, at the risk of repeating myself, there will be no bother whatsoever towards visiting supporters in Birmingham (particularly in terms of any 'mob' stuff). Said my piece now - have a good one!

Why bother trying to reason with them. They genuinely think women and children got attacked which is not true. They're deluded. Like as a collective. Mass hysteria. They're susceptible to it are the geordies...

There was a city poster came on here slaying the nobheads attacking innocent people at your place last season and those throwing stuff down onto the fans at our place. Very

Wow

I've seen some shite in my time but that's got to be up there with the best. People experienced this, people witnessed this, there was videos all over when it happened and yet you still pretend it didn't!
You've made yourself out to be an idiot with that silly comment.

As for no nobheads going to away games I'd class those throwing stuff down onto fans (including families) below them and causing trouble around the ground at the SOL as nobheads.
There was a bunch of wannabes behind a police escort offering to fight everyone in the fans zone and throwing stuff. Fan zones don't normally have a reputation as a place for trouble makers. I was stood talking to some Coventry fans at the time (as normal folk do) who were wearing colours and made to feel welcome and even they shouted at your wannabe hard men to piss off.

Exaggerated OP, but I’ve seen plenty of nasty stuff at Birmingham over the years. Coventry, Villa and WBA nowt really.
In nineties it was horrific at Brum. After the match on one occasion their fans were battering families.
I'm sure it made front page of Echo.
Coppers were totally not interested

My dad got hit by a brick at the Ricoh last year. As did many other people trying to get out of that park, women and children very much caught up in it all.

most people are well aware that Coventry Away last season, when sunderland turned up with their normal away support including a fair proportion of women/familes etc, outside afterwards a lot of these folk were being randomly attacked, these weren't "lads" wanting a punch up they were ordinary supporters in their colours , for someone to deny this happened FFS what a dick

Coventry no reputation whatsoever in the hooligan world However a lot of their fans are utter bellends

Good to hear its better at Brum but there were plenty of daft knackers at the Ricoh last year
