These bible yellers in the town centre.

In a way I admire them for speaking in public but they do utter some shite, heard one the other day say something like jesus has spoken ladies and gentlemen and says adidas trainers up to 50 percent of at JD Sports, he was standing outside JD Sports like so could be a way to get customers.
It's a nice change from spouting the utter shite in the Bible.

I saw a few in the town a couple of months back, a couple of black lads rapping about Jesus, is it the same people?

“The Lord is my shepherd and he knows what I want.”

I’ve seen that line delivered with perfect intonation resulting in a successful leg-over. Mind it was a very fit and rich son of a Nigerian (now ex- I think) general who delivered it..... to some Norwich slapper.

The Bible has some wonderful and interesting stuff in it and many lessons that people could learn from to be a better person in life.

But when I do see Bible bashers shouting damnation and stuff in the street, I think they have got some of the lessons the Bible dishes out, totally wrong. They seem more filled with anger, than love.

It also has some dreadful and positively nasty passages. They are conveniently forgotten about by the believers. If it makes them feel better I suppose......

The Bible is full of hypocrisies, like all religious books.

It has some incredibly nice and moral stuff in it

And it has some absolutely horrendous beyond belief stuff in it.

Having said that, luckily it's all made up utter shite.

It is how you translate the teachings with some. I agree with some of the Old Testament and some I don't and don't take them too literally. But the Teachings of Jesus are total spot on and an example to follow I say, it has done me a world of good and that of many others.

The “treat others how you wish to be treated yourself” but is older than Jesus and available everywhere else (and in other religions too) without the supernatural element.

You don’t need a book or divine authority to tell you how to behave. You could and would have done that yourself.

The idea of being born in sin and being told you have to worship some man-made supernatural entity in order not to go to Hell is atrocious. Some people can’t see through the bollocks and grow up into happy clappers. That’s dreadful.

You are allowed your opinion that it is all made up but I disagree. I academically studied 'The Synoptic Gospels' for two years and the evidence that proved many accounts were factual. But you are allowed to disagree based on your limited knowledge of such study. ;)
