Another day another grooming gang....

That’s a lot of data, but despite headline grabbing funding promises for the NHS those same spending commitments aren’t being seen elsewhere, meaning we are cutting services elsewhere and aren’t spending enough relative to need we have.

Generally speaking immigrants are healthier than the general population. They place more strain on housing and schools than the health service IMO.

All the staff are driving round in Tesla’s, clear where the money is going.

Deflect, deflect, deflect. I don’t know anything about the NHS car scheme, but I’d be surprised if it doesn’t turn a net profit - otherwise why keep it?
All I know is its sad as fuck to see people turning this thread into a political debate about cuts, NHS in crisis etc etc, yet not denounce the absolute vile scum who have destroyed so many young kids lives.

SMB at its worse.

How many times are we going to be asked to denounce them? It goes without saying.

It was a joke man, you need to simmer down.

So in the same context, I'm guessing there's never been a debate on NHS cuts etc?

The last thread on this was the SMB at its worst for anyone who saw it before it got deleted.

I don't know why people feel so compelled to defend/deflect/pretend but its not just people on here.

This goes all the way up to the top.

Maajid Nawaz said it bang on.

These communities which contain the grooming gangs are a voting block, politicians don't want to piss them off, the authorities don't want to piss them or the politicians off.

it's sickening to the core

So you’re saying Labour ignore grooming for votes?

You can look at objective measures of performance, quality and breadth of service, you can look at measures of health and well-being, etc.

Look at A&E performance, outpatient referral performance, staff vacancies, etc.
People use statistics like a drunken man uses a lamppost. More for support than illumination.

So you’re saying Labour ignore grooming for votes?

It’s not exactly beyond the realms of possibility.

We all know how cynical politicians on all sides of the house can be. Labour heavily rely on immigrant and ethnic minority votes, it isn’t inconceivable that not wanting to piss off certain communities who may feel profiled or victimsed resulted in a less than vigorous pursuit of these cases.

I mean that is quite extreme and almost certainly not the case, but it’s clear that there’s been a reluctance to pursue these cases due to potential bad press regarding ethnic minorities being targeted by the police.

Not just me. I'm not sure if it was only labour but definitely some.

Even if it wasn't MP's it was Councillors. There's no way none of them knew about it.

And the fact that sarah champion got punished for talking about it

Says enough in itself. Yes Labour do have a part to play in this.

Are grooming gangs exclusive to Labour areas?

I don't know for certain but I highly doubt it.

It's nationwide.

I never brought labour up by the way, I said politicians.

However the way they behaved with Sarah Champion and the fact that the home office sent out that deeply disturbing message while they were in power says they've definitely played a part

"back in 2008 the home office sent a circular to all police forces in the country saying as far as these young girls are being exploited in towns and cities, we believe they've made an informed choice about their sexual behaviour and therefore its not for you as police officers to get involved in" - Nazir Afzal
