Star Trek

Bakula is class.

By the by, I watched the last episode of Quantum Leap again over New Years when I was pissed and cried like a child.
Dr Sam Beckett never returned home

IIRC,it was a totally cobbled together at the last moment episode. They didn't know that was to be the last season until right at the end.
Opposite of Babylon 5. They'd planned an ending and suddenly got renewed for another year and didn't know what to do!

I quite liked Enterprise but unfortunately it had possibly the worst actor you could have as a Captain, Scott Bakula. He also had too much creative control over the series, which was at odds with writers and directors.

I've started watching Enterprise again, have to say its much better on a second watch. Did 6 eps over the weekend. It's great watching them not dare go through the transporters because they are brand new and no one trusts them. They also cannot get the ship to work properly or get the weapons to fire on target. I'll definitely be watching the lot of the next few weeks.

The Original series for all its flaws , dodgy special affects & ridiculous scripts is still the best
Beam me up Scotty
Superb

they are all on Netflix and I have spells where I sit and watch a few on a night

just watched the ephraim Cochran one last week. He appeared as a central character in one of the later films

People expected it to be the best trek ever immediately. Completely forgetting that Voyager, DS9 and even NG took 2-3 seasons to really get going.
Enterprise had so much content available to it once they'd got into their swing - but they were cut short, and the abortion-films that JJA made was the eventual result

One of the first things I realised is that when it first came out people would have dissed the shit out of it because the first couple of eps came across as a bit flimsy. Not to mention the marmite theme tune. Once it gets going its brilliant though - its already giving me mad dreams and I knew it would. Cant wait to get in so I can start binging on it again.
