Can well believe that this is true. I have opened around 70-80 packs in the past couple of weeks with Marquee Matchups, rewards and League SBCs and had nothing higher than an 84 and not a single IF. Wouldn’t like to think of the cost of these in FIFA points - anyone who spends real money is an absolute mug.
 


Got about 24 of the premium PL upgrade packs crafted. Will open more tonight. Did have about 78 league SBC packs but couldn't resist and opened them over the course of this week. Got Gary Linaker and a couple of other high rated cards. Crafted that Suarez POTM with league untreadble cards. He is very very good. Perfect links Messi and the Saudi RB which is why he is good. Still got about 800k coins and 2000 players in club.

That’s a canny amount of players to work with. How’ve you built up the collection?

Only got around 450 players to work with but have done maybe 10-15 premier league new year upgrades. Alderweireld was as good as it got, but got a fair few 82-84’s and have mapped out the challenges to complete Neuer, this includes busquets and pique who I’m using for he iniesta ovjectives. Suarez is my next to go for along with the icon swaps.

Bronze pack method, silver upgrades and recycled into league SBC grinding. Always did it. Built up a massive club with a good starting team and alot of liquid coins if I sell some of my big players. Messi is tradable for example.

Nice one. I only tried the bronze pack method recently but never fed them into silver upgrades to make further coins. It was building my coins fairly well anyway but it’s just making the time to keep the transfer list topped up that’s my issue. Next FIFA I’ll be clued up from the start.

It's easy done but can be time consuming. The companion app is great for bronze pack method. Just chip away at it. Either sell the players or keep for league SBC etc. Sell when the cards are needed. Daily SBC drops. Marquee matches etc
 
My 93 Kane couldn't score for shit last night. 4 games and my left back scored more. Even missed penalties. He was a goal machine for a week.
Why don't ea put some kind of indicator of a players mood/form like used to be in the old ISS games? Then it gives you the choice of whether to risk using a player that has a low mood..

Yeah I'd definitely get Schmeichel or Pep who I already have.
Just sank almost all my coins into Marcelo. Had to be done like as I've used the gold version for over 200 games and was possibly looking at upgrading my full backs Marcelo and Carvajal, who have been brilliant but are now the lowest rated in my team, but outside of Icons hadnt found anyone I preferred. Bit of a coin sink, but I'd have regretted not doing it.

Also not sure if it's been mentioned, but has there been an update where heading has been tweaked? All of sudden I'm scoring more headers.

NIF marcelo is class anarl, ive played over 900 games with him :eek: cant do the upgrade because I refuse to drop him :lol:

I felt I'd missed something with the Mendy futmas SBC, but Marcelo had been excellent for me anyway. When this came around I just thought 'fuck it' why not. I sometimes don't like selling players who have played hundreds of games for me, in case I don't like the upgrade and then have to buy the player again starting from scratch. But in this case with it being the same player it's ok, just Marcelo on speed :lol:

Now I need a Carvajal SBC for the other side....
