Depends how much you want to pay really. Lacoste, Pretty Green and Fred Perry are good if you want to restrict spending.

Paul Smith, CP Company, Stone Island and Paul and Shark are nice if you want to drop north of £100

I like the fit of boss ones but it’s RL I can never quite get right. They’re either skin tight or hanging off me. Tried all different fits as well.

I like Ralph Lauren but I know what you mean, I have to get the right fit and they seem different depending on the style.

with Boss it’s as if I’m in between sizes they always too small or too big.

Like the look of the Paul Smith gear but think the quality is poor. Fred Perry gets the mix right for quality/look/price IMHO.
Not had a Paul Smith polo, but had an "overshirt" type thing and jacket. Had to take them both back due to threads coming away and buttons falling off, not bothered with them since.

the polos are really good quality imo.I have 4 of the zebra logo polos and 2 are about 6 years old and are still in good condition, wash well.

Lacoste made in France if you can get it (an actual Lacoste shop probably the bast bet as chain stores don’t usually have it).
Benetton are quality as well but sizing can be a bit all awa.
Stone island slim fit not regular fit as they are a bit baggy.
paul Smith .
Acquascutum especially if you go in the site during the sales - usually do two for about £40-£50.
