RAWA Minutes from RAWA/Club Meeting.

SD and CM tried to flip and it didn't work. SD is absolutely f'ed as he hasn't got the money to sustain a League 1 club with such a big infrastructure. Any money he puts in from hereonin will be good money after bad and he knows it.
SD has bitten off way more than he can chew.

The way things stand he's set to lose money. His pig headedness will only hurt his wallet and his reputation now. Talking about £30-50 million is like standing with your fingers in your ears singing lalala.

You're laughing but there is still plenty of match going people like that. Against Coventry I'd had enough and I started shouting at the players how I felt, and there were a few in front of me having a go at me saying "some supporter you are". Honestly the amount of folk who are prepared to accept this shite is scary

I couldn’t believe that some people were applauding the players off against Burton. Not many - but still too many

I remember going to Hull the week after we got relegated under Moyes. There was talk in the week that Short had met Moyes and asked him to stay on. We went to Hull and won 2-0. On the train home a group of middle aged blokes were arguing about Moyes saying we had to give him more time, look at what he did at Everton, etc. Pointed out he'd relegated us literally the week before but they said we should stop living in the past and he had a 100% record since Short backed him  Was like stepping into an alternative universe

It was probably worth that when they first arrived but this cost cutting and amassed collection of mostly ,shit pub league players (sorry to the pub leagues), was always going to devalue the club despite the seat replacement and the recruitment staff mostly being shit at their jobs.
Still trying to frame himself as a big time footy club owner

Worst mid life crisis ever
He is certainly STILL that!

CM's fundamental problem was that he treated this all like easy sport. Outwitting the proles? Completed it mate.

He didn't count on people being individually sentient, and having a curious nature. That intial bit of PR (£40m) was the start, and it continued throughout as he desperately clamoured to stop the full picture being known. The irony is that I genuinely believe that if they'd have been up-front from day one about how they intended to fund the club, rather than the disingenuous implication that they'd be spending their own money and the club was merely a guarantor, then I think they'd have had a better time about it.

His bread and butter is meeting you one on one and making you feel special until you will defend him to others. He managed it with some pillars of the SAFC community and that led to those people defending his character in the face of mounting evidence that something was amiss.

Glad he's gone.

He was extraordinarily ignorant about how much we know our footy.

It must've blown the Gordon Gecko wig straight off his napper when he realised not only can our fans read and write, we can analyse and predict the outcome of events on the pitch with pinpoint accuracy.

This entire board knew appointing PP was bloody ridiculous. We don't have long ball players. We don't like managers with zero crack. We hate dull, grinding football. It's the first time RTG has united in years and it must have scared the Salmon straight out his pants because from that point on he lost the narrative for good.

You may think he was ignorant but how many people currently #donaldout were desparate to have their picture taken with him back in the day , he is well skilled at pr , we lapped it up

PR, Business and Football are three different things

Unfortunately Charlie's only good at one of them and not very consistent at that

I'd hope that our fans wouldnt turn on RAWA. I spoke to the lads way back when they were being formed and it was clear that they are acutely aware of one false move dispensing with any influence that they may have had with the club. I'm impatient but their "creeping influence" approach is the one that will work.

Its a f***ing helluva long way back for us and we need ALS/RAWA/RR/WMSP to be up there speaking with the board and shouting for us all.

Lets be patient with them and back them in what they are trying to do.

We have zero to lose by doing this.

He will have come out of this smelling of roses, jumped ship before the shit really hits the fan and move onto another project , easy to say in hindsight but we should have been more wary , trusting a couple of tory chancers , who in the north east would trust tory chancers !!
