Sniffing your cast

Bizarre smell to be fair, I've been in a cast since the end of October after a wrist break. Bloody thing won't heal even after surgery so add the aroma of wound as well to the mix. More surgery planned for January so the cast aroma nonsense will carry on into the new year.

When I did my Achilles I had the ski boot thing on and couldnt take it off for a month, there was a layer of foot cheese like dairylea on my foot when I eventually got to get at it. Was brilliant!

I had a cast on my arm some years ago.

When I went to the hospital to get it removed there was a nice little ball of mouldy baccy around the heal of my palm. That was nice.

Massive sheet of dead skin came off my arm when he was cleaning up.

Overall, a nice experience.

Currently with broken wrist, been in cast for 5 weeks 3 days and the cast is starting to niff a bit. Class smell like.
Can you give us a clue to the smell ? Fruity , nutty , savoury......pizza ...... stale undergarments?

Only when armed with this data can we get to work on the cause and “ eradicate nasty niffs “
Did you eat it?
I would have rolled and smoked the bugger immediately.

Up cycling - it’s the future.
