that is inexcusable. Where’s the pride, where’s the standards that should be there across everything the club does.
The management of the club should be ashamed.I don’t care if you have no money pride has to be the first emotion. Get the apprentices in to watch the match and clear up afterwards, it will do them good.
get volunteers, whatever don’t treat this club with contempt

This. And what @Guinness Guzzler and others said.
It reeks of not giving a shit and having no standards or pride. If "little" things like this are in shit state then what does that say for the rest of the club. Boils my piss like
Would come and do it myself if I wasn't so far away

We’ve had numerous games with discarded waste blowing about on the pitch. I never see this at other stadiums. What the fuck are we doing?
Exactly SD has a lot to answer for the current situation, as do the players. But blaming them for not picking up OUR /YOUR litter. It’s not hard to keep your waste and stick it in the bin. For a while even in the Prem league the Stadium was known as the SOL “stadium of litter” due to the amount of crisp packets on the pitch during the match. So please don’t blame SD / club fully for this as he didn’t drop that crap on the floor. Andy

There has been a litter problem on the pitch for years.
Surely it’s not beyond the club to have ground staff, ball boys, stewards, volunteers or in fact anybody, tasked with regularly taking a bin bag around and picking up the stuff around the pitch . Collect the stuff on the pitch during breaks in play. Take a bag up the walkways and ask for rubbish like a flight attendant .
Just at least show that an effort is being made to have some pride in the place.
There’s always plastic bags , easy caught by the wind , brought into the stadium by supporters and chucked , lazy , they should also show some pride.

The club is a shambles from top to bottom, the season is a write off already imo, get SD and PP out and bring the Americans in with a manager who is going to lift the players and bring his own forward planning in! I said last season that if we didn’t go up we were fucked financially and SD/CM were chancers and didn’t have a pot to piss in but was ridiculed! The only good thing is that SD is just hanging on by a thread but that thread will snap when we aren’t promoted meaning passing the club over to the Americans

Went to xmas dinner at the sol today, you got the opportunity to be taken down pitch side as part of the day.

This was the state of the tunnel when we went down

I mean surely they could have got someone to have a bit sweep up if they're taking people down there?
Littering at the Stadium of Light has been a problem since it’s opening.

It was a feature of televised games to see crisp packets and chip wrappers blowing across the players sight lines.

They used to have people doing it
