Or his exceptionally clinical strike rate wouldn't have continued, we wouldn't have been promoted and then he would have left for nothing.

Bordeaux offered him a better deal. They play in a better league and are a better team. Who wouldn't have taken it? And why would any professional football stay here? The club is going backwards.

I'm sure Bordeaux would have preferred for him to stay here and move in the summer. Instead we cashed in and ended up spending more on an inferior replacement. In the end it caused us promotion. The winners were Bordeaux and Maja.

Unfortunately we are left we a 3 strikers who can score and 3 chancers running the club.
 
At least we seem to have moved beyond the bitterness-fuelled “Maja has wasted his chance signing for a Mickey Mouse French team”

Part of a pattern where better quality players such as Maja, Cattermole and Oviedo leave - and are replaced by let’s just say players of more modest ability - without the club showing any signs of financial improvement or structural change eg to promote better youth development

And no need to mention the recent “upgrade” in football manager?
 
10% sell on fee can’t be sniffed at, particularly if he stays to the summer and is sold to the premier league. He’ll be a £15million signing by then, watch..

Would have been even worse than last time in the Championship and all, had bugger all to spend in the summer and we've seen the calibre of signings brought in by Coton and Hill, no confidence in our management team whatsoever. FTM
