Best Supermarket Cafe Breakfast

About Seaburn brining them in from “outside”. They make from an egg which is picked off the shelves in the morning.
I don’t think they do pick them off the shelves....I remember going for breakfast in Morrisons ...they said they didn’t have any sausages as they hadn’t arrived...I said can you not get some off the shelf and she said no,they are delivered seperately

I’d never had one until a couple of months ago. Morrison’s Penrith. Was canny. Then again, I can only recall buying breakfast in a shop/cafe once in my life, so I don’t have much to compare it with.

Some stuff is delivered, like sausages as they use catering ones. Eggs however are part of the shopping they do first thing in a morning before the store opens.

I know, I know. The galloping gourmets of the SMB will turn their collective nose up at this, but most of us have probably had a breakfast in one at some point.

What’s your preferred option?

I have to say, Sainsbury’s for me is the worst of a poor bunch: surly staff; poorly cooked food and a slightly sterile atmosphere.

Tesco is probably first amongst equals for me.

I haven't frequented Tesco for many a long year but it used to be dreadful.

It generally looked like it had been fired at the plate with a catapult

Spoons in havant used to fry the eggs in a square frame so it looked good on the plate... Boycotted it for breakfast since then..but don't mind a beer @ 9 am.. Unless they try a square glass..
