A proper Saturday

Out with the kids this morning in the park
Walk into town at lunchtime
A beer(or two) at the local with a mate
In the garage this afternoon tidying the clutter up and having a couple of cheeky lagers
Tea with our lass at 5 this afternoon that I cooked from a recipe in Gino DiCampo's book
Sitting down watching the telly all relaxed at 7

No match, no stress, no getting pissed off because of our sh*** team

Can we have no fixture every week?
If you prefer not to go, maybe it makes more sense if you don't go, mate.

Well I missed it today, like a fish out of water.
What got me the most was how long the day felt. Just went on for ages.
Few dog walks, jobs around the garden and out with friends tonight.
Grimsby away next Saturday and looking forward to it.
Mind you not disappointed today which helps.

I had overtime which I worked till midday. On the evening I had a meal with my lass at Frankie an Benny's and saw Le Mans' 66. Didn't get out till just after 11 pm. The Cineworld cinema in Boldon is being redeveloped.

First time in ages I went through a Saturday without feeling angry, upset, deflated and demoralized.
