Post Scunny press interview

RR interviewer: 'Charlie do you think the 3-0 defeat to a club marginally in thr footall league was a good result?'

CM: 'Yes, best result in thr clubs history'

RR: 'Totally agree. We are really impressed you managed to get Stevie Wonder to paint that picture on the South Stand wall as well'

The interviewer will say something along the lines of 'we've got to just pick ourselves up and go again haven't we' and 'you haven't had much time on the training ground with the lads yet with the games coming thick and fast, I'm sure you'll be happy to have that time now to implement some of your ideas'?
Very rough place to come iirc

I think its unfair to slaughter parkinson here. Its not his fault, hes been thrown into a club in turmoil and is expected to hit the ground running, under pressure. I could've seen the logic of appointing him at the start of last season. Hes on a hiding to nothing here in the current circumstances and i think most fans know that deep down. I can only see the criticism being aimed at the owners. Hopefully they decide to sell up asap.

He took the job didn’t he?

The propagandist questions are quite funny.

I'm not blaming him. The blame for his appointment lies fully with the clowns who appointed him because they thought he kept Colchester up in the championship (as because he was the cheapest).
"Maguire and McNulty are over the moon that the lifts are getting fixed, the stairs are making them out of breath and that showed on the pitch tonight. The fat bastards. "

McNulty is stuck in the lift. That's why it won't move.

Nobody forced him to take the job at a club in turmoil.

The vast majority of managers at this level would see this as a job you cant turn down. They would always be left wondering if they could be the one to turn it around. I dont blame him for having a crack. I also think hes been unfortunate that 4 of his 8 games have been in the cups. These are games that, lets be honest, no one is arsed about at this juncture. Its best if we are not in them while in this division. However, to not be in them you have to lose the games. Its bad timing they have all come in this sequence of matches. I am also a great believer that the mood of the fans transmits to the players. When the general feeling is that no one around the club wants to progress, you lose something on the pitch as well. There is no question that that 7/8000 the other day would blunt a competitive edge compared to 30k in a league game. Rightly or wrongly.

we've had 25-30k every league game for last season and this one
