Neil Warnock leaves Cardiff...

Poor ol’ Colin. He’s even being attributed to stuff he didn’t say (the EU/handball thing was Holloway).

Anyway, I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks there’s more here than meets the eye.

We’re six weeks from Christmas and Warnock leaves his job… just as panto season is about to kick in. I’ve felt for several years now that he’d increasingly make a rather excellent Widow Twankey.

Oh no he wouldnt

We are League 1!!! We cannot afford his sort of wages. When you numb ***** realise what league we are playing in and how close we still are to be in breach of ffp rules you might stop your bitching and complaining about every level of the club. 🙏

I don't know about Warnock being poison but he is a bully. Players in general don't know were they stand with him. One minute you are the best to ever kick a ball the next a bum! He is a short term, 2 year fix, one year to stabilise, one to push on and then he invariably blows it. If you are in trouble, he is your man but he is too negative to build a winning team going forward. Big name players won't touch him, hence his teams don't tend to have them. Just look at his history and why chairmen don't trust him at the higher level. To sum him up, he can bully up and coming players and journey men who need the cash but it doesn't work with better players. He can motivate, no question, but how he does it will only work in one off games against class opposition. Look at his list of clubs and were they were when they took him. They were all in the crap, had their short day in the sun before returning to crap.

For me, from the outside looking in only, Sunderland should have got Nigel Adkins and given him a 5 year contract. He does not need money and he actually improves every player he has. The job he did at Southampton and Hull City should have won him Manager of the year, but that's just my opinion.

Don’t think he wants another job, I think the death of that player last season hit him quite hard, think that’s the last we will see of warnock managing clubs

I have a suspicion (completely unfounded) that the descent into an unseemly squabble over the Sala money (it was always going to go that way) has more than something to do with his decision.

Always blaming everyone but himself for any loss. Everybody wrong except him and the whole world against him - made him a bit of a laughing stock in the game. Not many managers had time for him apparently.
